Camel's Spring Club

Very dated resort in need of a lot of upgrading. Very old furnishings outside on the patio, not enough kitchen equipment to self cater, fridge no use only had small broken freezer compar**ent. Towels very hard and old. Only positive has lovely gardens.

Spent 10days in 2 bed apt. Lovely views & great location close to the sea. Easy walk to Costa Teguise and good local bus to many places. Friendly staff, helpful. Lots of places to eat in CT & great ice cream. We had regular towel changes. Single Beds tough to sleep in. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at Camel Springs. The apar**ent whilst basic was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was no air conditioning but that was no problem at all in May and we were advised that there is a breeze in the summer so it’s not an necessity. It is in a great location. Easy walking distance to the centre of Costa Teguise. Nice walks in both directions to some great restaurants and a beach is only minutes away. Nice pool area with plenty of sun beds (rather close together though but could be moved). There is a nice cafe/bar at the pool. There was a couple of the days when there was quite a few families with kids staying so we opted to sunbathe on our large terrace in the afternoons after our mornings out. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We booked this as it looked ideal. It was. It’s close to everything, no taxi needed. Heated pool. Apar**ent big. Sun facing balcony Some parts could do with upgrading but it’s being done one by one. Lovely host. I’ll definitely book again if we can find a space. Probably the best one I’ve had for location in Costa Teguise Self catering which is perfect for the resort as everything so reasonable.

Pleasant break in this very well located small complex. Apar**ent was spacious and reasonably well appointed although an oven and fan would have been appreciated. Very firm mattress not to my daughters taste and she suffered with lack of sleep throughout our stay. Heated small pool cleaned every day but with with limited space around it so felt a little bit crampt and as the pool area was quite loud and boisterous at times it made relaxing difficult, reasonable stay but not for us again.

Great views from the balcony although sunbeds and the balcony need a good clean as does the sunbeds and areas around the pool. The apar**ents are clean on arrival but beds not changed during week. Towels and housekeeping only once during week, which is poor. Beds and furniture need renewing

We stayed here August 2023 for 10 nights. Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, ages 14,12,12. The pool is fantastic, never busy. No matter what time we arrived down, there were always plenty of sunbeds available. No sun bed wars here! The snack bar is small but friendly and good food and drinks. The apar**ent was really big, but quite dated. This wasn't a problem, as it was more than adequate for what we needed. Very private and not over looked at all. Only problem was the bed in the small bedroom. The mattress was way bigger than the frame of the bed, and as such was sloping off the bed which meant it was uncomfortable for our girls to sleep in. We did tell reception, but nothing was done about it. The only other thing, is the towels are thread bare and seriously in need of changing. Having said that, if we were coming to Costa Tequise, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Basic appar**ents in a great location, near shops and restaurants. In my opinion it would have been better to have reception and the snack bar open longer hours but maybe it’s like that that’s because the people who stay come and go as they please. We paid for a 2 bedroom sea view and the view was great. We moved to an all inclusive for the last 2 nights and had no view at all. It was a bit quiet for our teenagers but great for couples and families. The pool is a bit cold, though it is apparently heated.

Stayed here end of August for two weeks, family of 4 adults in a two bedroom apar**ent with a garden view, you could see the sea from one end of the balcony.. No air conditioning but not needed as we left the windows open and the through breeze was cooling enough. Apar**ent had everything we needed. The location is a little way out but is about 10 mins from the main area and the Playa Bastion shops/ restaurants. We had a hire car so purchased our water from the Euro spa but they sold it on the complex and it wasn’t expensive. If you do have a hire car there is plenty of parking on the street. We had clean towels every three /4 days, the cleaner came about the same amount of times, and we had a brush so we were able to keep our apar**ent clean. We were busy most mornings but never had any problems getting a sun bed later in the afternoon. And used the pool bar most days, they do a BBQ once a week and we went twice while we were there. You need to pre book it is €15 per head with an extra €2 if you want the fish rather than the meat. The food was excellent with large portions and plenty of salad and extras to go with it. We also used the washing machine which is onsite, €4 for wash including the powder and plenty of drying room on the balcony. There were a few pegs but we always pack our own so it wasn’t a problem. The only reason it doesn’t get a 4* review is that during the second week they were decorating, which included them power washing the walls which meant flakes of paint and water went every where. They did clean up everyday after they had finished, maybe just unlucky that they were doing our end of the complex. This hasn’t put us off and would stay again as a family of 4.
