Courtyard Quebec City

My major complaint is one that is. common with many hotels. That is the concept of not offering housekeeping services unless you are staying 3 nights. I paid 260CAD per night. IMO, getting fresh towels and the garbage emptied should be part of the service. Queuing at the front desk to ask for towels is frustrating. Nice staff and we'll appointed room. The location is in an industrial park. Restos close by but anything of interest requires transportation. It wasn't an awful stay but I don't feel the value for money spent would entice me to return.

Staff was not friendly. Rude checkin clerk. Asked for handicap accessible bathroom, was not given it for either room (we booked 2) Given a hard time when addressing this with hotel manager. Handicap parking is only 2 spots for 9 floor hotel and not near entrance. Fridge froze all my drinks. Will never use this hotel again. Sad, because I've stayed a many Marriotts and have NEVER been treated this way.

We loved this property. We booked it without looking at the map. Just wished it were walking distance to Quebec City. That was my fault.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel, very good price at the time, the hotel is pretty new, very clean and pretty modern furniture, the room was super clean and well furnished, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower, good view from 8th floor, and 15 minutes till old Quebec, a lot of fast foods and restaurants nearby, the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast is a bit expensive and we didn’t try it. I loved the covered parking however The only cons is that it’s missing a charging station for electric vehicles. I totally recommend it.

Hair trace found in property. Customer service reception put me on hold for half an hour and wouldn’t answer directly

Service at this location is simply appalling and frankly ruined my stay. * 30 min to check in with no explanations. * Their system processed a random checkout after 1 night (out of 3). That morning, I was sent an electronic bill and all the systems in the room automatically stopped working. I called Reception and the staff ensured me I had indeed checked out and there's nothing they could do. This led to an argument with reception staff who demanded I bring them proof of reservation because their system only had me in for one night and I had to leave!! I was able to show my reservation to sort this out with, additionnal holds on my credit card but no apology from their reception staff! Mistakes happen but please learn to own up to your mistakes. * No housekeeping for a 3-night stay (I'm suspecting due to unexpected check-out issue). Request for more towels after the 2nd night and no housekeeping were met rather coldly. Again failure to recognize that they had made an error. * The suite has a nice but very bare kitchenette. It has a microwave and fridge and 2 paper cups and 2 coffee pods but nothing else: no cutlery, no plates, no glassware, no paper towel. There are 2 glasses in the bathroom. I called reception to request more glasses and was asked to justify why I couldn't make due with those 2 glasses. Staff at this hotel is not interested in customer service which results in a lackluster experience. It's a shame. The hotel is fairly new and clean with a nice pool.
