The room was ok, best for cheap lay over

We paid very little money to stay at this hotel and that reflects in our review. There was no 24hr desk as stated. There was no restaurant. Even though there was a kettle there were no tea or coffee. The young lad who seemed to be on duty all the time was lovely and very helpful. The room was very damp and obviously hadn’t been used for a long time. Paint stains all over the carpet and toilet blocked.

I stayed with Chinese families three times in total when I went to Colombo. First of all, the transportation is convenient. There is a Tuk-Tuk bus at the door. When you go out, you can cross the overpass to the train station, which is convenient for going anywhere. The boss was very nice and asked his staff to accompany us to buy phone cards. When he saw that I had a sprained foot, he also provided free plaster. It has helped our family of four a lot. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant with good taste, and it is very convenient to pay via WeChat. The room was also clean and tidy, and I had a good rest. Conversion plugs and mosquito coils are provided. The service is also very good and very enthusiastic. There is a local guy at the front desk who can speak Chinese and said that his Chinese was taught by the boss. Very satisfied with the accommodation experience, I will come back again next time I go to Colombo! It is really our Chinese home in Colombo!

Suitable for a budget stay for a couple of days. I didn't guess with the location. This hotel seems to be close to the center, but is located in a non-tourist area. 20 minutes walk to Colombo Fort railway station. The hotel was clean, friendly staff. Wi-Fi is of average quality, but in general there was enough speed for everything. The renovation is not new.

If only for one night before departure and looking for a budget... but I can’t really recommend it... We checked into a double room (conditionally clean), instead of the paid triple one (we didn’t argue, because we came as two people)

The room is quite big and very clean. The bed is also comfortable. It's located in the city center right on the road, so it's easy to find. The hotel has its own dining room. After more than 20 days here, my Chinese stomach was finally appeased.

The hotel is well located, however the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom.

The room was clean and tidy! There was a waiter who could speak simple Chinese. The boss was Chinese and very hospitable. He even invited me to drink on the Chinese New Year day👍

It met my basic needs, but the service of the guy at the front desk was a bit annoying.
