What a nice place! Hotel has the free shuttle bus to airport, and the driver even remember the destination (domestics / international) separately. The room and bathtub is nice for this price, but if you want the public bath you need to walk outside the building.

This time I was staying in their annex building. The whole building has 5 rooms on two floors. There is a bar on the first floor, where guests can drink freely. The hot spring is in their main building, and there is a business car to pick you up. The waiter is very nice. But it is recommended to book their dinner in advance, because when we went there was off-season, there was no restaurant in Lake Shikotsu that opened at night, and there was no convenience store.

This hotel is actually a resort hotel, and its location is beside Lake Shikotsu in National Park. If you catch up with the good season, the scenery there is absolutely good. The hotel is on the hill, very quiet, the service is super good, treat you as a VIP. Dining is authentic Japanese-style meals, the quality of materials is extremely high, if it is a holiday and leisure, it should be a good place. The only disadvantage is that the traffic is limited because the hotel does not provide buses to pick up at the airport or train station. There is a municipal bus stop near the hotel. It takes ten minutes to walk from the hotel down the mountain to the station. 5 minutes by car, this is perhaps the lowest cost a hotel can do. However, the journey from the city bus to the train station or the airport requires tourists to bear their own costs for a single trip of 1300 yen. The transportation costs in Japan are expensive. It may be like this. It takes less than an hour on the road. This is One. Secondly, in addition to the high cost of city buses, the time limit is very large. There is no shuttle at 4:30 pm. Once you go out and miss this point, you want to return to the hotel, or if you want to go to the hotel on the first day, only If you can take a taxi, the cost will be higher, at least three times the cost of the bus. Unless it is self-driving, it is recommended.

The hotel is in a good location, right in front of Chitose Station. It takes only 5 minutes to get from the room to the platform. The room is in the style of a Japanese business hotel, a little old but very clean. The breakfast is very rich, the radish soup is very delicious, and the almond tofu is also good.

The service is very good. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic. I don't understand the language, but they also served us very enthusiastically🥰 and helped us store our luggage for a day. But I don't know why the room has a peculiar smell. It's not smoke. It may be that the previous guests hung clothes at the ventilator. The peculiar smell is very strong. Other than that, the room is very clean and the bed is very soft. Is there a sheet under the quilt of the bed? Or something else. When you lift the quilt, it will fall out with the quilt. I don't know what the specific function is😂 I only slept for one night. The experience was good except for the peculiar smell.

The hotel is very good. There are oranges to eat on the first morning of the New Year. The shuttle bus can be taken directly to New Chitose Airport, which is very convenient! The attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. In short, it is recommended

LLyonLBy far the best hotel we have stayed in our first Hokkaido ski trip! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and I can’t compliment it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Andrea Antonio (I hope I spelled the name right!) who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even helped us arrange a lovely dinner and a traditional tea ceremony, which added such a special touch to our trip. The hotel itself is stunning, especially during the Christmas season! They had an incredible display in the lobby — a real cookie house, which was so impressive. Andrea told us it was built by their in-house pastry chef, and I can’t even begin to describe the level of detail in it. Truly an amazing work of art, and huge credit goes to those talented hands behind it. Our room was fantastic — the highlight being the automatic blinds that you could control just by tapping our room card! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with a luxurious bathtub. Though we didn’t get to use the tub (since we were enjoying the onsen), it was a nice touch. Speaking of the onsen, it was a real treat! We loved spending time there, though there was a small hiccup when the water ran out after 11pm. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it would’ve been nice if it had been available for a little longer. Overall, the service was impeccable, the room was fantastic, and the onsen was super relaxing. I would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Sapporo!

GGuest UserOne of the best ryokans I have visited in Hokkaido There are 2x 7 feet bed (very comfy), big projector in the living room, and the in room onsen was spacious and clean! Clean and modern rooms with a smart tv The room was overlooking the snow and unfortunately lake view was blocked by the snow. Both dinner and breakfast were of top notch quality (we have tried many and they're usually very average), every dish was delicious and we were very full and satisfied. There was also a free beer to each guest every night, big selection of black teas in the lounge and free inari sushi (which was btw delicious!!!) Definitely 100%% would recommend to anyone that is looking for a last stop before heading to the airport

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

EEdwin YThe hotel is location about 20 mins away from the airport by driving. It is a shame that they don't provide shuttle service for pick-up or drop off to the airport, nevertheless it is a common sense to expect such service since the hotel has an airline name in it. It takes about 2200 yen to the airport by taxi one trip.

GGuest UserMy daughter and I had a fantastic stay here before our flight which was on the next day. Even though we had to take a smoking room (we booked quite last minute so no non-smoking rooms were left), the room didn't smell horrible at all which we were pleasantly surprised about. The room was a great size with 2 very comfortable beds and everything you needed for to freshen up and a complementary bottle of water. Reception were also very helpful and pleasant. I was also surprised by how quiet the room was considering we were at an airport terminal. Breakfast offered a great choice for all tastes and was efficient and tasty. We also loved the convenience of just having to wheel our cases to check in the following day.

TT.PanotWe really love to recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay the night before your flight from Chitose. It is convenient to get to the hotel as it is close to Chitose Station. The hotel shuttle bus service to the airport is very convenient. With so much luggage, it is much better than taking the train. The room is compact as usual, but it is clean and nice. The staff can communicate well in English. They were very kind to let us leave some of our luggage at the hotel for four days before our check-in date. The breakfast is also very good. There are two kinds of breakfast they offer: an international breakfast and a traditional Japanese one. We had both, but I think the traditional Japanese one is nicer. The restaurant is decorated in Japanese style and is served by many grandmas. It made us feel like we were eating a meal made by Mom. Unfortunately, we had very little time in the morning, so we could not enjoy our time in the restaurant enough. There is also a public bath on the 2nd floor, but we did not have a chance to use it.
