Portom International Hokkaido

Chitose|2.34km from Minami-Chitose Station
We have stayed at hotels located in or very near major airports. Some have been good, but we have found those actually in the airport usually practice treating guests as prisoners who don’t have other good options. Service there is usually average at best and care of the property is often marginal. Not so with the Sapporo Portom International. We wish every major airport in the world had a hotel just like it. It is new, modern, comfortable, well maintained, and run by a professional helpful staff. Our room was a Superior Twin, a typical shoe-box shaped hotel room, this one on the big side. Those who frequent hotels know the typical shoe box room will suffice as long as it’s clean and the water is hot, but you also probably notice some owners do a lot more than others with their rooms to make guests comfortable. This room has all the latest high tech, from lights to tv to curtains to outlets for charging. There’s a safe, fridge, and nespresso coffee maker. The bathroom has a little wet room with separate tub and shower. However, unlike many Japanese hotel wet rooms we encountered, the shower was western style (rather than the onsen-style with both shower and faucet, sitting stool and big bowl). However, if you want an onsen bath, the real thing can be accessed on the 4th floor of the hotel where there is everything you need to cleanse and then soak in a public bath of hot mineral water. The hotel also appears to be designed to facilitate quiet and rest. It’s purposely dimly lit and located at one end of the international terminal away from other airport services. It has black-out curtains. The location, which helps keep it quiet, is about 15-minutes' walk from the domestic terminal where most of the airport’s services are located (just a Lawson's convenience store nearby the hotel as well as a Visitor Welcome Center type place). Even if your itinerary doesn’t take you to the domestic terminal side of the airport, if you have time, you’ll likely want to peruse the many shops and restaurants over there. If you’re technology challenged, make sure to quiz the staff member who accompanies you to your room on room features and how they work. At checkout we were provided an airport cart and they loaded our luggage on it for us. This cart together with moving walkways between the international and domestic terminals removed a lot of the burden of crossing the airport on foot with luggage. We wanted to avoid rushing from the Sapporo city center to catch a 40-minute train or taxi to the airport for an early morning flight. The Sapporo Portom International was perfect, plus it afforded us a final onsen experience in Japan. Please build more.

Hotel AreaOne Chitose

Chitose|2.77km from Minami-Chitose Station
We used it for the previous night of airport use. The hotel itself feels a bit old, but the cleaning was a neat impression. There is also a large bath where you can use towels freely, and the amenities are firm, so you can take a bath and sleep without preparing your own bath. You can stay without spreading your luggage. Also, breakfast was more substantial than I thought for the size of the hotel. The airport transfer was a reservation system until the day before, but it was comfortable to send it smoothly. However, there are at least two showers for the above public baths, and there is only a small bathtub in the public bath. The time when it was crowded was a little narrow. In addition, the dressing room of the onnayu is a specification that the guest locks every time, but there are many things that are not protected 々, and the child suddenly opens the dressing room of the onnayu / the door is half open I did. It was a very uneasy making as a user side ... I think it is safe to avoid using it by one woman based on the location. It is not directly related to the accommodation itself, but it seems that the soundproofing of the room is low, and it is heard to the alarm sound of the nearby room, the scream of the child, and the fool of the employee who seems to be waiting in the linen room. I thought it was not a very secure environment, so I really sleep and eat breakfast, but I think it is just a good hotel.

Hotel Livemax Budget Chitose

This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from JR Chitose Station. It's in a place like a bar, but most of the shops are closed due to Corona and I was able to spend a quiet time. The room is basically equipped with TV, refrigerator, Wifi, a large number of outlets. The bath feels quite old in the unit bath, so if you are concerned, you may want to be careful. There are several restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, so I don't think you will have any trouble eating. It's a long walk from the station, but I think you can consider using it depending on the price.

Likes: Hotel allows you to choose the type of pillow you would like - there is a rack on display at the hotel lobby and you can just take what you prefer! Good choices too - e.g. down pillow, sponge pillow etc. JR Inn Chitose is very centrally located just next to the Chitose JR Station. There are two 7-Elevens just outside the hotel - very convenient for buying breakfast items which you can then microwave back at the hotel on Level 2. There is also an indoor hot bath on Level 2 of the hotel. There is free parking on site if you have a car. The room is very clean, about the size of other Japanese hotel rooms. Toilet is Japanese-size but very clean and well appointed. Disliked: Breakfast option at the hotel is very limited. There is a Yayoi restaurant next door to the hotel and connected by an internal door. From early morning, the Yayoi only serves hotel guests and it has a basic breakfast set menu for 900 yen. Price is ok but the set doesn't taste so good. Can try once but after that you may probably prefer 7-Eleven!

Hotel Route-Inn Chitose Ekimae

I am very satisfied with the room, the public bath and the breakfast. I stayed at several hotels at the age of 1000, but this route inn is the best. The room was a comfortable room with an airweave bed. Airweave is only supported by top athletes and can sleep very comfortable. I recommend staying in the airweave room even if the accommodation fee becomes a little higher. The awakening is the best like a lie. It is also impressed with the public bath. It is comfortable here because the air in the dressing room is clean and clean 々 and there is no steaming feeling. Is it because it works with nanoe? Breakfast with a lot of items is delicious with white rice. There was an explanation using Hokkaido rice. Only one thing that felt good was the start time of breakfast at 6:30. If the plane from Shin Chitose Airport is before 8, it will be hard to eat breakfast in a hurry. I feel that there are many people who think it would be good if it started at 6:10 at least. It is a hotel with no stress at all.
Chitose Station Hotel

You can get off at JR Chitose Station from New Chitose Airport and check in through the communication passage on the 2 floor. Even if you get off the train and walk slowly, you will arrive in 5 minutes. The room was large and the bath and toilet were separate, so it was easy to use. Breakfast was free. There is no dinner, so you may use the gast on the 1 floor. There is an ion diagonally in front of you, so you don't have to worry about eating and drinking. However, be careful not to buy too much, and the refrigerator may not be able to enter because it is small. There are many other restaurants. There is no hotel in Kitahiroshima, so it is convenient for the ball park in Kitahiroshima. JR 20 min, walking from Kitahiroshima Station to Ball Park did not take 30 min. Even if JR stops in snow, there is a bus from Chitose Station to New Chitose Airport, so it is safe even in heavy snow. Cheaper than JR.
