Nice hotel, room was clean and comfortable. Our room was in the back and it was wonderful as it was so quiet.

Checkin and checkout was efficient. Room was clean and good range of accessories. Fresh air option besides AC was nice. Also, ground access to our room from the parking lot.
Dining room service was questionable. Staff were busy talking to each other though there were only two other diners. We had to request staff to take our orders, and there was no topping up of coffee unless requested.

Very convenient to the Marine Atlantic port. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. We did not try the restaurant there but the menu look good.

Had a nice view of the boats coming in, and very close to the terminal. No food options after 9:30 pm though!

One area that could approve is the dining room. The manager in charge (aLady) needs a customer service course. She was rude to us and when another couple arrived she was rude to them. She even took it one step further, we were sitting at the table closest to the computer where u enter the meal. A male server who appeared to be new told her the couple he was serving wanted gravy and how do I renter their request into the computer. This was the couple who came in after us who she was extremely rude to. Anyway she looked to see who he was serving and told him to tell them “we have no gravy I am not giving them any”. She should either be given a customer service course or fired. One extremely rude individual.

I liked the quiet room and the kind staff. The drinking glasses inside the paper bags were dirty - one had a finger print. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in the room. But overall, a good stay.
