Nice hotel near Kawasan waterfall. Friendly employees. Has its own cafe. There is a rocky beach nearby, but it is shallow for swimming. Wi-Fi was paid, it didn’t work in the room, we had to go outside. They have guides who can take you canyoning. If you just want to swim at the waterfall, you are allowed only to the first level.

We rented a room for two, it turned out that this room was of indigenous Filipinos (they always lived there with us))), the attitude towards us was excellent, everyone suggested where and what to go and what to visit, helped with renting a motorbike, and with ordering a taxi . But it seemed to us that we were living with a Filipino family (the children were constantly making noise) and the constant presence of the owners bothered us. We stayed for 7 days, but we left a day earlier and rented a room in Cebu to sleep. If you shoot for a couple of days, then it’s good.

The resort is great! Its staff are helpful. We took public transport from the airport and we had no much trouble going to the resort. We stayed in a pool villa and every cent is worth it. I just wish they could provide more drinking water in the room. The allocation is only 2 water bottles (330ml) per day, which is not enough given that you have to hydrate after spending time at the beach. The staff offered to refill our water bottles, which we do not have considering we came all the way from the airport.

Very beautiful and pleasant place. The homestay is very empty, with cows next to it and the sea below. The whole town is very beautiful. The lady boss was very diligent, got up early to wash clothes and prepare dinner, and the room was very clean. On the way back and forth between Cebu and Mobao by bus, we will arrive at Mobao by going to Cebu, and then about four kilometers ahead.

We had a great relaxing week with Yvonne, Lutz and the whole staff at Mangrove Eco Resort! Not only that we felt as a part of the big family from day 1 on - we can highly recommend the very professional diving class incl. SSI certificates with Yvonne and the great food in the Eco Resort. We even booked an extra day diving in the “aquarium” dive spot close to diving center asia with a local guide - great experience!!! We wish you all the best! Take care! Neele & Maciej
