The breakfast buffet was the best!! Their staff are very friendly and accomodating. They greet you everytime they see you, even at the basement parking. The hotel was so clean and well-maintaned.
Hayat Sky Towers Service Apartment

Context: Hayat was on soft-opening when I stayed early January 2024 with my family and the amenities were not yet fully-functional which was understandable. Nevertheless, the 2-bedroom apartment we got was really nice, well-appointed, clean and spacious. Toiletries were provided. The staff were extra attentive and helpful. They have scheduled shuttle service going to the malls and back. Breakfast was really good and delivered to us since the restaurant was not yet open during the time of our stay. I believe we got an extra fruit platter from the management which was a well-appreciated bonus for us. Definitely VALUE for MONEY! We will stay here again next time.
Elsalvador Beach Resort

So many errors with this hotel. First: The name is a sham! There is no beach at all connected to the hotel. To be honest there are no beaches nearby at all. They do have a maybe 50 meter connection to the sea squeezed in between two big concrete walls, but that should be more considered as a torned down harbour with a rocky coastline if anything. Often with lot of garbage floating close to shore. Secondly: The hotel tries to make money out of external events hiring their grounds, which happens to be all of the common areas left outside your own room like the pool area. We stayed there for eight nights (15-23/5 2022) and from 8am to 11pm there were about two to four events every day making noice and playing loud music constantly. Often at the same time. In a very limited area there could be a private birthday party playing live music, a private student celebration with a DJ and by ”the beach” a private fitness event playing loud bass music - all at the same time. So to try to relax was impossible. When that stopped around 11pm it was almost a relief just to hear the constant noice from the heavily trafficked road right outside the reception. Talk about reception, the third problem: Their wifi sucks big time! We were there working and it was impossible to do our jobs properly using the room wifi that was crashing most of the time. I know that the Philippines are not Europe, but since the wifi in the reception was always working, it depends more on poor equipment than the bandwidth. Maybe they could use some of the event money they earn and put in new equipment? Lastly: The service in the restaurant is terrible. To get food under an hour even if it is almost empty is impossible. And to get everyone served at the table at the same time never happened. But that seems to be a general Philippino thing. The room cleaning has also more to wish for. It is hard sometimes too se if they even has done anything more than just make the bed. But at least they filled up the toothbrushes. I think I had four untouched at the end... If they would put that efficacy in all they did, it would not make up for the constant sound pollution and the false name, but at least skip some irritation. With all this said, if you like to live in the middle of an amusement park - this is the place!

We chose this hotel for its location as we were just transiting 1 night in the city, and for that it served its purpose. Value for money and location is spot on! Lots of restos/cafes within walking distance such as AA BBQ, Tales and Feelings, Tightrope Coffee and Good Cup Coffee (our fave!). Bed was comfy and they provide bottled water/shampoo/soap/toothbrushes. Water pressure was strong and hot water came on quickly. Took out 1 star because sadly the toilet did not have a bidet and we killed 3 small roaches during our stay... they were super tiny but still... roaches! Still, would stay here again if only for their proximity to Good Cup!!

I booked the hotel at short notice due to an urgent medical trip. I booked this hotel because of it's proximity to the medical facility I was visiting. I had sent an inquiry about parking but didn't get any reply before I left Negros to travel to Cebu. When I got there I found they had no parking at all, and no suggestions or arrangements to park elsewhere even. No parking provided for a hotel smack dab in the center of the city. How did they get away with it. I have some apartments in Negros far from any City and had to provide parking to get approvals. Unbelievable. Furthermore, despite the fact there was pay parking outside the hotel, max 2 hours, from 7am to 7pm. You were not allowed to park overnight or you would be clamped. I saw several cars clamped in the morning. Someone obviously has a sweetheart deal with some towing/clamping company. Room was ok, but as others have mentioned, past it's best and only one elevator. Breakfast was poor, no accommodation for foreigners. Ordered scrambled eggs at the egg station and got an omelet. They did have a band every night in the bar/restaurant. There were plenty of ballroom dancers, mainly older women and paid male dancers. The second night we were there we couldn't even get a table.

The mattress was low quality. You can feel the wires of the springs. We turned it over but the same. It really needs a good thick mattress topper. The air-conditioner was very noisy. There needs to be signs in the passage way that should instruct people to be quiet because people sleep here. Kids were noisy, slaming doors and talking loudly.
