Food great. Hotel great. Entertainment team great. Weather great. Drinks great. Pools great. Staff great. Cleaning staff great. Aircon great. Literally the only slightly negative thing about this place for us is the shower is a bit rubbish and weak, hot/cold and curtain sticks to you. We are on our last full day of 10 day hol. Asked for an upper floor room and got a 2 storey apartment with huge roof terrace. We asked for a late check out which we've been lucky enough to get right up until our transfer time back to airport. All in all this has been one of the top hotels we've stayed at over the last decade and would def recommend. Would def come back again without a doubt.

What a location! Great little town, good shops and restaurants on the door step. Nice beach close by too. Apartment was basic but fine for us as a family of 4. Improvements like extra storage would be amazing! 1 wardrobe for 4 people was a struggle. A sideboard of bookshelf would have been really helpful! Air con worked brilliantly! The shower room was a little on the grubby side with a very tatty shower curtain which didn’t stop water getting out. We were lead to believe by the website and travel agent that it was its own complex but we could also use the facilities within the sister hotel blue sea Martas. Turns out it’s all under one complex along with others so we got a 3* apartment with 4* facilities. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were amazing. There was always someone out doing something, cleaning, fetching towels or jet washing. Plenty of sun beds even though you had to be up early to “claim” them. Couple of issues with arguments over the sun beds which was ridiculous! The service was amazing! We would go again but NOT all inclusive!!! The food was terrible. From breakfast to dinner! Just awful. We spent extra money to get away from it, luckily the town was full of great food! The “menu” was repetitive, bland and strange! 4th night in we thought “yes!! Burgers” but my god they were terrible! Chicken and beef combined into what can only be described as a sloppy Pattie! The puddings were pretty much the same every night “cake” I use the term loosely. Ice cream which had the consistency of dog poo pushed through a play doh machine and what we think was mousse. If you like chips and cheese, pasta and rice you’re in for a great week.

Brilliant ! We came all incl. , asked for an apartment with a large terrace&got exactly that.We wanted a quieter part of town&Cala Egos perfect. We could walk to Cala Dor around the beautiful marina if we wanted more to do and see. With regards to the food, absolutely nothing wrong with it. The only bizarre thing we found at the complex was the water is all saltwater. The pool, the shower, the tap water - salty ! Quite bizarre. Otherwise don’t listen to the negatives, they nearly put me off too but it absolutely fine. We will definitely be coming back !

I booked this as a gift for (Spanish) Mother’s Day for my partner and our children, we were excited to get away and relax for Mother’s Day but was terribly disappointed with our room. When we got to the room we first noticed there was no bed sheets or pillows on the bed so we went to reception and the receptionist gave us the sheets ands pillows but we had to make our own beds (you don’t go on holiday to be told to make your own bed). Also in the bathroom we had no towels and no soap in the soap dispenser a basic for any hotel to wash and dry your self apparently not in this hotel. The toilet was broken water was running constantly the noise was unbearable making sleeping impossible. (Thankfully we were only there 1 night) The shower could not be attached to the wall as the attachment was broken so made showering uncomfortable. In the bedroom the light was hanging off the wall, the bulb was broken and live cables were visible and at very easy reach for our children. We were shocked at how this room was passed fit for use 1st from maintenance 2nd from the cleaners and 3rd from the hotel management. It’s incredible the negligence especially the live wires on the lamp. On your website you say your “philosophy is to provide comfortable accommodation for all budgets, without lowering the quality of service to our customers” well you failed with us. I contacted you direct and you did absolutely nothing. I would recommend you avoid this hotel and company.

Never again will I use this hotel, they try rip you off. After finding it expensive to eat around the area we asked if we could upgrade to all inclusive was told it was €45 per person per night which we thought was great we was only staying for 4 nights until she told me it would be €720 and when I said that is incorrect she wouldn't listen and told me I was wrong. On the beach also contacted them and told them this price was wrong but still was saying its wrong. Now onto the room we was put at the far end of the resort which we couldn't open our patio doors the whole holiday as we had cats outside trying to get it clawing at the doors, bleach stains on the bed, coffee stains on wardrobe doors, wood peeling off the bedroom door, there was no way of warming the rooms out as the heating setting on air con didn't work so we was shivering on a night, tv you could only.get 4 channels which kept losing signal and the shower was covered in mould.

On arrival to the resort, we were taken to the buffet area by Moises (absolute legend!) as we arrived late, he made sure we had some food and drink down us and the kids were kept happy. That set the tone for us - it's always useful to have a good first impression! On day 1, the pool areas were full, there were no sun beds at all so we had to sit on the grass by the main pool - no biggy, but having a 6 month pregnant partner, we ideally wanted a sun lounger for her at least. I ended up having to get up each morning at 7am to get my towel down by a bed.. but even by that point - 90% of the beds were taken. Its one thing the hotel should look at, only 1 day i was there did a lifeguard step in and remove towels, as certain guests would put their towels down at 6am - 7am and not return until afternoon. Entertainment Team - overall they were absolutely fantastic. Big shout out to PABLO!!! This guy is great, he built a great rapport with my 8 year old, and she's talked about him everyday saying she misses him. We did have a slight issue with one of the other entertainment staff who seemed to make up his own rules as he went along. They offer games for the children / teenagers throughout the day, which is great obviously ... but on one occasion we were having snacks - and my daughter saw a few people playing JENGA... (one of the entertainment teams games) - and thought, this will be great! So we approached and the french man (forget his name) - asked if we want to play, i said - yes please! Then he said "sorry, its just for teenagers".. I kind of looked and thought... what?? You've clearly just seen me and my daughter approach, only to say - sorry - its just for teenagers. So i shook my head and walked off.. rules are rules I guess. It did upset my girl, and I just promised her we would do a different game... only to see a host of adults then play this game, and the entertainment staff happily let them. So i then went back out and asked the french guy ... "you've just told me its only for teenagers.. yet theres 3 grown adults playing?" His response "they are teenagers" - - couldn't stop laughing. I said, no - they are not teenagers and you've just made an 8 year old girl cry.... his response to that was "do you want to speak to my manager? make a complaint, i dont want to talk to you" So that was that for me, i walked off. I didn't want to let someoone poorly trained in customer relations ruin the day. Back to the good parts... Entertainment at night, superb! Michael Jackson show is 10/10. We also enjoyed the "Mr Blue Sea" and the Disney show as well. Apartments are very nice, cleaners super friendly. Air Con worked a treat. Pizza on site at MARTHAS is very good, only around £6 with the 20% All inclusive discount. Overall I'd give this resort a solid 8.5 / 10 - 1 point lost for the food... Food was samey and not very child friendly. But - i get it, they're trying to cater for everyone. 0.5 of a point lost due to the french guy.

I never really understood the setup when reading reviews before we travelled. Basically you are staying at Martha’s. The reception is Martha’s the bars, entertainment, everything. They’ve just called the back block Ses Cases as if it’s a different hotel! What I will say is that we’re glad we picked the Ses Cases part. It’s marginally quieter than the other pools that are pretty manic! Intuition told me to avoid a ground floor room, but having now visited the hotel I’d probably go for one next time, as many opened out straight onto the pool which would have enabled me to sit down for a bit and watch the kids (as sunbeds were all towel reserved by 8.30). Saying that, we enjoyed the two floor layout of our upper room and the balcony was huge. Cleaners daily and all staff were helpful and friendly. Food - some days good, some nights pretty poor. We were AI, but ate out a couple of times in Cala D’or rather than Cala Egos. On that subject, it’s a fair walk to The Marina/Cala D’or when it’s hot and you’ve got grumbling teenagers and pre-teens! Taxis are reasonably priced but sometimes difficult to get in high season. The bus service is great and reliable. Just tap your card for the number of travellers on and then the same again as you get off. We got the bus up to The Caves of Drach. Took an hour and 15, but cost less than €10 for all three of us each way. (A lot cheaper than if you book a tour through the hotel, just order entry tickets online direct from caves site.) Area - it’s nice, but not as nice as Cala D’or itself and due to the distance it does feel like a separate resort. Beaches are amazing but crowded, not a particularly relaxing experience! Finally - our pre-booked transfer as part of the holiday package was no bother at all. Straight into a people carrier and there within an hour. Perhaps that’s because we were in Cala Egos, rather than CD, which may have busier buses. Half the price of a private taxi too. I’d go back, but perhaps to CD itself.

The hotel is immaculately clean, can't fault that! We came just for a long weekend, Thurs eve to Mon. Fully inclusive. Hotel is a good position, Cala D'Or centre a €6 taxi ride away and good bars and restaurants just around the corner too. There are three pools, two very busy and loud, one much quieter but no shade at all and none provided either. Queues form for sunbeds early and towels left for long periods with no one there! One bar for all inclusive, which led to long queues in the evening and drinks were heavily watered down and food was OK, but same most days, pork, rice, chips etc. Could do with more choice but restaurant not huge and queues for coffee/drinks machine could be long! We weren't there during high season but could imagine how busy it would get! Entertainment also ok, not great, obviously do it on a small budget! We ate out and food locally good and pretty much same cost as UK. For a long weekend it wasn't bad, definitely wouldn't do longer here!

Stayed 5 nights with my friend at this hotel and we chose to be all-inclusive. The hotel is modern, clean and fairly large. It’s also in an ideal location. Our room was spacious and the air-con was very effective, but it was outdated. The majority of the staff were very friendly- a special shout out to Martha who was especially helpful. Unfortunately this is where the good feedback ends. The food was mediocre, drinks were very watered down & ALL the tap water was salty. Upon arrival we were told our room number and given a map of the hotel (in which was completely wrong) and a keycard and told where to go. We were not shown to our room. There was multiple rooms that were the same number, with the only distinct feature being a letter in front of them, which is not displayed on the number signs outside the rooms anyway! We ended up disturbing a man in a room that was the same number as ours!! This is incredibly confusing, and we spoke to lots of other guests that had the same problem. Then, the key cards are so difficult to use- this really should be sorted. Before we came I read the reviews, and I was aware of us having to pay one euro for a plastic cup- which, I thought, honestly is a good incentive for saving the environment. However there is a bar and a restaurant in the hotel that are not all-inclusive! If you have all-inclusive guests, the option of all-inclusive should be everywhere! Then, we realised that the reason for having to pay for a cup is just because they try to get money out of you! To rent a towel, it is €2, but then you have to pay a €20 deposit!! Then, people were sitting on sun beds and leaving their towels there whilst they left the hotel for hours. People were even stealing sun beds to put in their garden and leaving all day, which we were informed by reception was not allowed. But yet, staff do nothing about it. Then, because of the lack of sun beds around we saw a balinese bed was free. We started to sit on it when the lifeguard told us we had to pay 24 euros for it!!! A bed in our own hotel! This just made all the attempts at getting money off you infuriating. Also, expect to pay a fee upon arrival too. Finally, I would be wary about leaving valuables in your room. We were fine, but we spoke to another group of people who had over £400 worth of stuff stollen (cash, shoes etc). The staff again, didn’t care that their belongings were stolen. I understand using the safe for cash/wallet, but when you have a room you’ve paid for, you expect your belongings to be safe!! One of our doors didn’t even lock. Also we tugged our back doors when they were locked and with little strength, they opened. Definitely not a secure hotel! Overall, we would not stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone. It is a shame because the actual hotel is really nice.
