It was clean because it was newly built! The microwave, induction, and washing machine are right in the room, so it would be good for families with children or those staying more than 2 nights! And the refrigerator is quite large, so it's very good^..^
The parking lot is machine parking, so it was convenient, and the manager guided us right away, which was very considerate.
Haeundae is right behind the building, so it would be easy to access for those who like to play.
Note. If the induction or washing machine doesn't turn on, turn on the electric power next to the hood.. We also got lost^^,, And since there are no utensils or pots, you can't cook unless you have your own equipment! (See photo 3)
And since construction is going on in the building right next door, those who are sensitive to noise or such issues should probably avoid it!

Overall the hotel is very new, the room is spacious, the smart TV is easy to use, quite popular among both international and local guests. The convenience store inside the hotel 1st floor is great especially during winter time, we don't need to go out of the building at all. Also you can refill your water bottles at the dispenser located on every floor.
We arrived earlier than the check in time, there are self serviced lockers for storing baggages. And then the hotel staff invited us to check in 1 hour earlier. The desks on the 3rd floor has a good view of the beach and like a modern co working space.
However, there is no cotton pads / hair brush provided, which is a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is not bad nor very good. The lighting is a bit poor in the room, and only one light switch for the whole room. Itโs very close to Haeundae, which is very good. Close to the subway station and the beach. Thereโre lots of restaurants and shops nearby, quite convenient.

๐จ Fairfield by Marriott Busan
314 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, 48099
Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024.
๐Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more.
๐ Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal.
Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000.
๐๐ฝ Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important.
๐ฃ Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home.
๐ฒ Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away.
Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance.
๐๏ธ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry.

The staff at the front desk werenโt particularly friendly, but they provided clear guidance and offered excellent advice to resolve our issue during check-in.
Toilet and shower is 2 separate rooms which was good. Very spacious room- overall we had a pleasant stay.
Location was conveniently around 5-8 mins distance from Busan station. convenience stores and mini mart nearby too.

Reception staff were super kind and helpful. Was able to help us with weighing our bags and arranging taxis. Excellent room cleaning each day ๐ with complimentary bottled water. Solid wifi too and sound proofed well, didnโt hear anyone else the whole 5 days I stayed. Location wise, a bus stop is right outside and short walk to subway, making Gamcheon village, Jalgachi market, Busan tower, Nampo, all super accessible. Airport only 30 minutes away via taxi for around 20,000 won.
Cafe and convenience store on the first floor and amazing bbq chicken and beer on 2nd. Also some good cafes and restaurants walking distance near by.
Would I stay here again? Yes if wanting to stay in the area. If I want to focus on Haeundae more I would perhaps choose somewhere closer to there. I think for first time visit, you can go wrong!

I would not recommend Ananti at Busan Cove to anyone. It should be a place to relax for families. However, they have an abundance of (confusing) rules and a military style of โserviceโ from their staff.
I've traveled all across the world (+60 countries). Living & working on 3 continents - and this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. A resort where the guest is always wrong. Strange hours, strange rules, strange service.
And don't count on using the pool on the day of your check-out - as it's not allowed.
If you want to carry around the full page of rules with you, be limited to small selection of restaurants which fill up and close early, then this might be the place for you.
On the plus side, the sea is beautiful (although no accessible beach) - so you are stuck with the pool which is evacuated every 50 minutes.
A stay at Lavalse Hotel places you in the heart of Busan, within a 5-minute drive of Nampodong Street and Jagalchi Fish Market. Location - near to Busan station (10 minutes taxi ride or 20 minutes bus ride + a little walking). It's also near to Gamcheon Culture Village (30 minutes bus ride). Lotte Department Store is walking distance of 10 minutes or a bus ride of 5 minutes. Evening time, you can see stalls laid up selling cooked seafood - many locals will eat and drink there (we didn't try as we were too full). Just next to the hotel, there's a Emart convenience shop but if you walk about 50m down the street, there is S25 convenient shop which I find the things are much cheaper. If you wish to grab a coffee, there is a โBlue Shakโ cozy cafe within 50m. This area is less touristy.
Service - The receptionists can speak English but I felt they could be more friendlier. We unforeseen our small sized luggage to be spoilt and requested to be thrown away at check out but was told that they do not have a disposal bin. I understand South Korea has a strict disposal system but given such a big property, they could at least help because we travellers can't just dispose things anywhere. The receptionist reluctantly helped after I insisted. The Housekeeping was excellent, clean room throughout stay.
Room - Good size. I booked a triple room (Ondol - floor bedding) but was given 3 real beds instead. I did not pursue further as I checked in late (11pm+) and it was 2 nights. The bed was too soft for me. View of the room was partial ocean and port.
Overall, a good stay but I will not return to this hotel. I am a hotelier but I do not expect sky high services because service line can be hard at times. The receptionists at both check in and check out didn't gave me a warm feeling - didn't felt as welcome like a traveller.

GGuest UserThe room is very nice. There are vinyl records and stationery. Postcards and notes are given when you check in. There is also free coffee at the coffee shop downstairs. The mood is worth it. The only downside is that the window in the room cannot be opened. It is a bit dusty. I was not feeling well after staying for three days.
CChen_27One of the best hotel in Busan, lounge food and service is quite good and thereโs dedicated checkin area at level 33. Cocktail selection is great and many hard liquor.
View from the room is nice also. Room is big and clean, will definitely come back.
GGuest UserGreat location as it takes a 3-minute walk to the subway station. We stay two nights. The rooms are clean, and staff members are helpful and speak English. We got two rooms with higher floor with nice view and some seaview.
They provide skin care product are good. The breakfast is good and is different every day. Since we stay during the weekend, itโs a bit clowndy after 7:20 and may take some time for the elevator during peak hours.
UUMEKAWAMy husband and I stayed for two nights.
The location is about 5 minutes from Haeundae Station, along the main road, so it's easy to find and the beach is close by.
It was nice to take a walk along the beach in the morning.
It's lively until midnight, but it's quiet when you close the windows.
The only amenities provided are shampoo and other amenities, so you should bring your own simple slippers, pajamas, and toothbrush.
There is a Daiso and eMart nearby, so you may want to buy them locally.
MminchooThe receptionist was fluent in Japanese and very kind.
The hotel was clean, and I especially liked that the bathtub was clean.
It was also nice that there was not only heating but also an air purifier and a freezer. Although I had some trouble, the police station was nearby, so it was very convenient. I would like to use it again.
AAnonymous UserI feel scammed.
Pros:
- Location. It is on the busiest street and located in Haeundae so reasonable accessible to most attractions in Busan.
- Space. very spacious.
- Good A/C
Cons:
- View. I paid extra for โpartial ocean viewโ room and there was a huge difference between pictures and reality. Turns out there is only one room that looks like the picture and the other rooms have window-wall on one side that connects to balcony. The window wall had big and bulky window panes that made it impossible to appreciate the view. What is even crazier is, the balcony had a huge STONE WALL so we didn't even have ant view, HALF OF WHAT WE SAW WAS JUST WALL. We could only see the ocean in a very specific angle in a tiny, tiny spot on the bed. Not worth it and I regret booking the room.
- Noise. the buskers sing until late on weekends. Because we were located right above rhe busking spot, we couls hear every word of lyrics with windows closed and could not really hold conversations without raising our voice. We couldn't hear ourselves think.
- Lack of attention to details. inconvenient. shower is not built properly and water doesn't leak; it streams outside the shower. no bidet. hair dryer is weak and smells old
- Understaffed as hell. we checked out at 10:45am, 15 minutes before checkout time and usually the busiest of time at receptions. One staff is dealing with phone calls, arranging taxi rides, overseeing/managing the luggage storage. We really did not feel safe storing our luggage in the lobby with the staff being so distracted and physically unable to see what happens to the luggage, even though it is right in front of reception the queue was blocking the view.
At least the partial ocean view option is not worth the money at all. I feel scammed and strongly recommend other options of similar price range or ocean view hotels near Gwangan-li, since Haeundae is a very touristy region. You'll get burned out after two nights of staying in the neighborhood.
CCarla Andreea MelisaSteven at the front desk is so nice and helpful! He assisted us with booking a boat cruise for much cheaper than the usual market price. The rooms are cozy but more than enough if all youโre looking for is a bed to sleep in. The location is right in the heart of a beach area with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.
GGuest UserThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was โthe switch is below the TVโ. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.
GGuest UserThe hotel was located in the mountains, so it was a pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
The facilities were clean and nice
On the other hand, access by public transportation is somewhat inconvenient.
