Homers Hotel

The hotel is very close to the beach, so the view from the window is great, and the surrounding area is convenient. However, check-in is strictly at 3 PM. Even a minute early is not allowed. Everyone has to wait until 3 PM, so the lobby was full of people waiting. It felt a bit impersonal. Also, the blue light from the air conditioner couldn't be turned off and was very bright. One of the room lights was also broken and stayed on, which really affected my sleep. On the last day, I paid an extra 100 RMB for breakfast. The variety was very limited and quite mediocre – not worth the price.

The hotel's location and service were good, but the facilities were terrible!!! Firstly, there are only two elevators, which stop on every floor during peak hours, making them very inefficient. Secondly, the soundproofing is very poor, and the basic facilities are quite old (e.g., no toilet seat, very small sink), making them difficult to use. Lastly, and most importantly, the air conditioning was broken and couldn't be adjusted, often leading to room temperatures close to 30 degrees Celsius, making it impossible to sleep from the heat. In summary, while the location is convenient, the overall experience needs significant improvement.

Great location, right by the beach. The room was spacious, I could lay my largest suitcase flat on the floor with plenty of room left, which is great for families with kids. The sea view from the room was stunning. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel, and the area is lively. The room itself was quiet, and the breakfast selection was pretty good. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom counter is too small, which isn't ideal for someone who needs space to do their makeup.

The hotel room was very spacious, and the location was excellent, right in front of Gwangalli Beach with a nice ocean view. The area around was lively, with many dining options. However, the room facilities were just average, and the front desk staff were quite cold.

I actually felt a bit regretful after reading the reviews for this place, but it turned out to be decent when I arrived. The evening I checked in, I immediately saw a drone show over the sea, which was a pleasant surprise! We must have been lucky because the shower water pressure in our room was pretty good too. Even though the facilities are a bit old, overall it was quite alright.

Very good, right by the sea. You just cross the road and you're there. The facilities are a little bit old though.

Pros: Great location, directly facing Guang'anmen Bridge. Cons: 1. The room was basic and spartan. The walls were bare with nothing on them, and there were some water stains and bulging on the ceiling beams, making it look a bit run-down. Before I opened the curtains, I honestly thought I was staying in a guesthouse. A small lounge chair by the window would really make the most of the large floor-to-ceiling window. 2. No power outlets next to the bed! Being able to charge and use my phone before sleep and after waking up is really important for travelers. 3. There was no full-length mirror, only a small round mirror above the sink, which was inconvenient for doing makeup and checking my outfit.

We specifically booked a sea-view room this time, and I was absolutely blown away by the view outside the window! The room faces Gwangalli Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge directly, with no obstructions whatsoever – truly the 'pinnacle of sea-view rooms.' We enjoyed the sea during the day and the bridge's light show and fireworks at night, creating an incredible atmosphere. Downstairs, the hotel is surrounded by a lively beach and commercial street, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. While the facilities show their age a bit, for such a stunning sea view and a super spacious room (by Korean standards), it offers really great value for money. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Busan!
