Enjoy the trip and the cinnamon rolls. Was just a quick trip but perfect for a night and hike the next day. We drove down and hiked the silver lake trail. The campfire the night before was a nice touch.

A very special place and experience! Carol and Marty run Robert Frost Mountain Cabins and they go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. I traveled alone with my pup so I wanted to find a secluded place to rest between hikes while also feeling safe and secure. This was the perfect place. I highly recommend it. The cabin I stayed in was beautiful, spacious, clean, and with a very comfy bed. Be sure to order the Cinnamon Twists for the morning!

The cabin was very comfortable and any need we might have had was anticipated. There were enough kitchen tools that allowed us to cook our own food that we brought. I enjoyed a soak in the hot tub with a view of the mountains. It was the off season, as it was between winter and spring. But I enjoyed the quietness. Clear, dark nights revealed the nicest stars I've seen in ages. The trillium trail offered a nice walk through the woods, and we found great hikes a few miles away. The hosts were attentive and available but not intrusive. We hope to return soon!

A beautiful, peaceful place. The hosts are the best! Brought us popcorn while watching the solar eclipse. For the "show", they said. Cabins are beautifully crafted, yet cozy. Composting & recycling are part of the scene. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This is our second time staying at the Robert Frost Mountain Cabins, and the trip couldn't have been better. A heavy snow the day before we arrived meant almost 2 feet of snow on the ground, perfect for sledding, winter hiking, and (most importantly) hot cups of coffee while looking out at the winter wonderland. The loft is a lot of fun with the games and exercise equipment. We hope to be back soon.

I've had a note on my desk since last summer to write a review about our stay at this amazing place. Our family enjoyed the Sunrise Vista cabin and I just couldn't throw my reminder note away without commenting. Finally. Immaculate makes it sounds stuffy but I mean it only in the absolutely clean way. Balancing the warmth of front door delivered warm cinnamon twists with a cabin nestled into nature (but completely tidy) made for a home away from home vibe. There is nothing to criticize here. Look around the property early on in your stay so you see and allot time for all there is to enjoy: breathtaking mountain views, yard games, indoor game space, hot tub, etc.

We stayed here in July 2022, but I never got around to writing a review. We stayed in Cabin #1 - Peak Perspective, and the view from it is amazing. I loved reading, playing cards, or eating meals on the back porch and looking at the mountains. The cinnamon twists we got on the first day were yummy, and we loved making s’mores and looking at the stars by the campfire. The hot tub also has a great view of the mountains, and the Trillium Trail provided a nice short hike to get some exercise on the days we didn’t feel like going off property. The only cons are not specific to the property itself, but rather to Vermont in general: no cell service (but Wi-Fi is provided) and a bit of a drive to get to any attractions. However, neither of those can be helped, as Vermont towns seem a bit spread out, and there is no cell service in a lot of the mountainous areas. But to be honest, the remoteness is also part of its charm!

We had an excellent stay at Robert Frost Mountain Cabins! Our cabin #5 was just perfect for our party of 5 and our dog as well. Extremely comfortable, cozy, relaxing - the beds are great, as was the futon. Our cabin and the others are very attractive, well built with beautiful wood, solid walls and doors, warmly & rustically decorated and nicely spaced apart from each other for you to enjoy privacy but also feel comfortably connected. You feel instantly relaxed and at home the minute you cross the door's threshold. Kitchen had all the utensils, pots & pans we needed for cooking in & dishes etc. It's eco-conscious and there is composting and recycling made very easy to do. An extra nice and thoughtful touch was having warm cinnamon buns delivered to our cabin door the 1st morning of our stay by Carol, one of the lovely owners and an excellent hostess. The hosts were very attentive, proactive and readily available for any questions or help needed before and during our stay, and at the same time are very respectful of your privacy. The surrounded wooded grounds are beautiful and peaceful. There is a community hot tub for all guests and large upstairs loft providing additional space to relax in, with movies, books, some gym equipment, coffee & tea available. The community area looks out over a beautiful open field with gorgeous VT mountains and sky to enjoy while hiking the property or relaxing in the hot tub. There is laundry available, maps, towels & robes for use, as well as sleds and snowshoes. There is even a little supply of local goodies to buy should you care. Everything is very well-tended too, extremely clean. I can't say enough about what a gem Robert Frost Mountain Cabins are! My picky teens feel in love with it our first day and want to know when we can go back. I can't wait myself!
