Upon arrival for check-in we had issues. As the person that was checking me in was getting ready to hand me my key card, another worker came behind the desk and told him to cancel my room because he was going to put someone else in our room. I had asked for the original room due to wanting to see the parking lot and my vehicle. The original room was also a closer walk for me which I needed as I have multiple cracked disks in my back. The person checking me in was very confused and upset that the other worker, clearly this guy was over him, had done that to me and said he was sorry but he couldn't do anything about the situation that had just occured. So our stay had started off on a very bad foot to begin with. Upon entering our room it was very musky smelling, we sat our stuff at the end of the beds and turned on the lights. The curtains would not close all of the way, when I went to use the restroom for the first time I noticed that the ceiling had rust on the metal parts as well as black stuff that resembled mold which I am assuming was the cause of the smells. The fridge was broken and unable to be used. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and 3 of the pillow cases had stains on them, upon removing the cases the pillows were very stained up. The air conditioner and heater both, would only run for 5 minutes and then it would shut off. You would have to manually power it off and back on and repeat so you never got comfortable. It was an absolutely bad stay.
