On April 10 I was charged $100 for a room that I found out was listed on the blackboard for $75. The man who took the reservation was gone for the day and the other workers made excuses. When I tried to contact them, I could not reach the owners Cynthia and Yoann, and instead could only reach by email the same person who ripped me off.

We enjoyed a wonderful Chris**as dinner at Casa Corazon, with fabulous food & fun vibes at a very reasonable price. We also returned for dinner a few days later. The seafront location, service with a smile and tasty food are a winning formula in Bocas town :)

I stayed for 3 days and the service was excellent. The owners and the staff very nice people always willing to help you. The cleaning was excellent. The food was good too. And the breakfast had fruits/juices/bread buffet. The view from my room was beautiful. It’s a great place to stay. No doubt I will go back again.

Beautiful decor and lovely ambiance. Unfortunately, our experience with the food was extremely disappointing. The most expensive by far meal we had in Bocas and the worst value for money. The waitress sang the praises of the Bandeja for 4 , She assured us it was plenty big enough and had enough food for our family. We were terribly disappointed with what eventually was served. One cold tiny fish, one dry piece of meat with no salsa, 2 tiny skewers of chicken, 2 very unappetizing vegetable skewers, over-fried patacones, and a few miserable French fries. A side order of the mozzarella sticks which came out of a box, and drinks, the whole meal was $75.00. Very disappointed and feel cheated, to be honest about what was sold to us and what we actually received. Praise though for beautiful decor and nice live violin music.

If you are in Bocas Town I guess you want a waterfront hotel. So why not also with a sea view room. And in this respect Casa Corazon delivered. A pleasant room, actually a triple room, top floor, balcony with nice view, good a/c, TV we didn't try and an over the bath shower, decent wifi all newly decorated room, clean and bright. A good choice for a night or two before our rented accommodations out on the islands and later at Bluff Beach. A pity then that breakfast let it down. Just egg choice and a slice of bacon cooked. Buffet was fruit, 90% melon, toast, watered down juice, tea or coffee.

We've been spending two beautiful days here at Casa Corazon. Rooms are small but comfortable with A/C and hot water. Restaurant had an awesome salsa band on Saturday and we got some dancing in. Breakfast, included, offers a full menu. Happy hour is superb. Try the Fidel Castro!
