Hyatt House Mall of America/MSP Airport

I never stayed at this hotel my flight was delayed at Charlotte l had ******* staff to call the hotel stated that was fine then my flight to Chicago was delayed had ******* staff to call again the hotel stated that l did not give them a 48 hour notice and cancelled my entire stay, me and my son had to sleep in the airport and once l got to Minnesota I booked another hotel but could not check in until 3pm so we had to stay at the hotel until our room was ready. Very aggravating and no one cares so where is the hospitality when the business that offer hospitality. I had no control of the flight delays.

Worst place to stay to be a guest from another state me and my family were treated poorly never again staying at a Hyatt hotel. To summarize a little more I didn’t get my room till 5:54pm when check in time was at 3pm. When I order towels they said they didn’t have any. When I order toilet paper they made me go downstairs to the lobby and go get it…. What happen to house keeping ? The pool was so dirty there was tampons and so much hair for two days straight nobody from the hotel decided to go clean the pool. Everyone that I expressed my feelings and concerns seemed to not care and just brushed me off. Everyone is so rude and disrespectful Specially the Indian bald guy with glasses at the front desk. Me and my family have never been so humiliated or treated so poorly. Will definitely never recommend and make sure I give them a bad review on all platforms because I never have experienced such bad service on a Hyatt hotel before I will definitely reach out to corporate I am sooo disappointed. I can keep going because in 3 days so much happened but I won’t waste my time I will definitely express my feelings to someone who does care!! By the way the only person that was nice and helpful is a lady with curly hair blonde brown hair she was the manager asst.

Any inquiries I had during my stay were hard to communicate with the staff as most did not speak English, and those that did didn’t seem very attentive. I reserved 2 queen beds, received 2 double No coffee machine in room, but there was coffee in the room to make if there was a coffee machine to use Requested no cleaning service in person and put the do not disturbed sign on my door during my stay. Upon return on an outing, someone came in our room. Someone had changed the temperature to much higher than we wanted and left an extra garbage bag. I had taken my garbage out and gave the cleaning staff our dirty towels. We also had clean towels hanging up to use, but those were removed leaving me to seek out replacements on my own. No other cleaning had been done, so unsure why they felt the need to enter the room. It also makes me uneasy having someone enter my room without my consent. The overall temperature in the hotel was way too high. It made being in the hotel uncomfortable. We had to pay for parking separately, and cash was not accepted. To add, they did not maintain the parking lot at all and caused my children to slip while walking. The breakfast was ok, but nothing compared to other continental breakfasts had elsewhere. The hotel was booked because it was close to MOA and restaurants, and a new building.

The whole experience was awful. The website description and the true hotel were two different things. A bar with a crap menu is not a restaurant. An airport shuttle that doesn’t run until 7 is ridiculous. Having a rude, uncaring person at the front desk is unacceptable. I had to pay $ 35 for an Uber and $54 for Uber eats because of your false advertising!!!!

Property was clean when called for more towels staff was kind and delivered very fast. . Door lock did not work in the morning so was trapped in the room for almost hour to have door fixed. Breakfast was cold and ran very low on items. When asked staff about no coffee she seemed irritated.

We stayed 2 nights and no one came to replenish towels or clean our room. It would have been nice if at check in we were told that they only clean upon check out. We found old food and human hair inside the sofa bed. Crumbs on the counter top. Lip stick stain one one of the glasses in the cabinet. The cherry on top is that tgey charge an extra fee if you are parking a vehicle in their lot during your stay. There were no clean towels in the pool area either.

We chose this hotel specifically because they offer a shuttle to the airport, but when we checked in we were told there is no shuttle because they don't have staff to run it. The rooms were also overbooked so we didn't get the room size we booked.

This place falsely advertised a free shuttle when they in fact do not have a shuttle at all. It is a very very loud building can hear everything and the swimming pool is like getting into the polar plunge in Minnesota winters and is extremely cold.
