Having chosen to stay at Premier Inn, Bexleyheath for two or three days a week the majority of the last 30 months, I truly fail to consider that having stayed anywhere else would have been even close to equivalently-worthwhile, nor left me, a blind man with an acquired brain injury, feeling anywhere close to equivalently satisfied. From the spacious rooms to the roomy space allowed within the ensuite, Premier Inn, Bexleyheath’s ever-friendly staff (most notably the ever-pleasant Josephine - warmly-welcoming without wane) deserve special mention for ensuring visitors feel fulfilled, leaving nothing to be desired

As my wife was running London Marathon we had to use Bexleyheath Premier Inn. Hotel is situated perfectly to get to the start and back from the finish by train. Cheap parking (£5.95 for 24 hours). The staff were amazing, from the lady serving breakfast who gave everyone a shout out and a hug to Katrina, who went out of her way and got my wife a little congratulations pamper gift of a face mask, eye mask and best of all bath salts so she could have a soak. This is our third trip here whilst running London Marathon, hopefully we’ll be back for more

Not really great customer service on arrival, barely 2 words when we walked up besides the typical hello. Given our key cards and not informed of what time breakfast was (key card holder had it on luckily but kinda thought the guy might have told us like most hotels do)… One key card decided not to work so we was told to use that to keep the lights working in the room. Not the greatest start… Go into the room and there was a single bed over by the window, not a problem even though we were a couple and seemed a bit odd to put us in what seemed to be a family room but the small bed was covered in stains, nice. Cobwebs in one corner of the room. No instruction on how to switch the shower to bath, but we managed to work it out, although partway through showering my partner said it would cut out. Extractor fan seemed to do very little so everytime we left the room and came back, there was just a damp smell and the windows aren’t allowed to be opened so no fresh air to help with this issue. Air con seemed to rattle from time to time. Pictures on the wall were all wonky. I guess it seems like I’m moaning about minor things, but all these little things add up and I wanted to make it a nice experience for my partner who was visiting me from the US. I actually found it quite embarrassing and for the price I paid for it, you’d expect things to work, some level of cleanliness and customer service! The only plus to the stay was the bed was actually very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was nice but don’t expect much of a welcome when you walk in… No one checked whether we had even prepaid! We had dinner once in the restaurant, but even that was poor. Only one lady serving, most of the starters they didn’t have and the food itself seemed average. Overall, I won’t stay here again even though it’s in the perfect location! And I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. I guess if you wanted to stay 1 night you might be ok, but for a longer trip, definitely not.

Peter the person working at the hotel was very pleasant, friendly and helpful during my stay. Keep up the good work. The room was well kept, tidy and easy to use. The hotel is right next to bexleyheath so you have easy access to shops and the train station into London is 15 minutes walk away

The hotel is quiet and the staff is helpful. Hotel is close to restaurants and shops and bus stops. It was great to have a blow dryer in our room. There is shampoo and body wash and the towels are large and wonderful! It was very nice to have AC also!

Booked two rooms at the Bexleyheath Premier Inn for a family stay in February 2024. The hotel is well located in the town centre and the NCP car park below was easy to access. The staff were pleasant and helpful, however the rooms were tired and in need of some modernisation. Despite booking a family room, the extra bed was not made up on arrival and there was a general stale smell around the hotel especially in communal areas. I would suggest the hotel is due an upgrade and general overhaul. Breakfast in the pub next door was of a reasonable size and standard. The highlight of the stay were the friendly and helpful staff, but the hotel is generally let down by the building and furnishings.

We have used this hotel a number of times. Premier Inn is a known brand with a reputation for good service and cleanliness. Our room was clean, if a little tired. However, our visit was enhanced by Samawiya on Reception who was exceedingly helpful in resolving a problem rebooking and transferring it to our daughter for another date. So great when the computer says yes! Well done Samawiya and thanks.

I made 3 bookings in total for myself and my guests for our wedding, there were issues with some of the rooms, a very smelly corridor and another room which smelt like someone had smoked in however the biggest issue was with our own room. My husband to be checked in to the room, dropped his case and some of our wedding paraphernalia and left it immediately without properly checking it. He returned later that night got straight into bed and slept. It was not until the morning when he got up that he realised to his horror the room had not been cleaned from the previous occupant. The waste bin was half full of tissues, the cups and glasses were dirty and the towels were used and had he thinks make up stains on them, it’s also therefore possible that the sheets had not been changed. He went to reception and complained and also explained this was his wedding day he needed to get ready in that room and I would be coming back with him there that evening, the receptionist apologised and said they would get it dealt with. He then went out to get a shave and haircut at a local barbers, he returned 2 hours later to get ready for his wedding to find the room in the same state as he had left it, he had no choice but to get ready but once again complained on leaving. On our return later in the day the room had thankfully been cleaned. I was appalled to discover this had happened in the first place and even more so that the problem had not been dealt with as soon as they were made aware of it. Have never experienced anything like this before in any hotel.
