The service was okay but when we checked in they asked to see our travel log history in which we showed them but they opened up a previous customers travel history and they were worried that we had been to Shandong province but in fact they just hadn’t checked the Chinese persons travel history and they were being overly cautious because we were foreigners. We have been in Beijing for months. They also gave our room to someone else but kindly gave us a lovely upgrade to the executive apartments. The breakfast was quite disappointing the pastries were dry with a hot lamp above them and there was no flavour but a lot of variety for Chinese breakfast style food if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t call this a international breakfast. The waitress in the breakfast lobby kindly found us some room temperature water because they only had hot water at the buffet. Because of the location we really enjoyed our stay but we probably will not go again. The amenities were alright but for such a lovely big bath tub there was only one small bottle of body wash which only lasted one tub use and then we couldn’t have a shower or go in the tub again because there was only one bottle between the both of us. I wouldn’t say not to recommend this hotel, it would be very good for people on business trips and big families but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples. Of the five hotels we have stayed in within Beijing, this hotel is ranked last.

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Hanting Hotel
4.7/5967 Reviews
Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
Although the Hanting signboard is hung, it feels close to the standard of the whole season, at least the room facilities are almost the same. It is also convenient to play around. The opposite road is the Temple of Heaven Park, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the north gate. The roast duck in the restaurant downstairs is also very good.
Vienna 3Hao Hotel (Beijing Tiantan Zhushikou Subway Station Flagship Store)
4.8/51202 Reviews
Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
We originally chose this hotel because it is located at walking distance from the Temple of Heaven. Apart from that, there is nothing to do in the area, with just a few shops. We found the attached restaurant relatively expensive. The room was good but quite small and without a mini-fridge. Apparently we would get an upgrade for booking via trip com but we did not get any upgrade. English is not spoken at the property but we managed to checkin.
Beijing Temple of Heaven Atour light hotel

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
The location of the hotel is really convenient. Turn left a few hundred meters away from the subway entrance and the bus stop is at the door. I booked a king-size bed room, and the lady at the front desk helped upgrade the room type. The stay was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The price was quite suitable for the second ring road. The room was also very clean and tidy. The service of the little brother and sister is very enthusiastic and great. The breakfast is rich and nutritious and tastes great. The most important thing is that I sleep very comfortably. Of course, the price is also very affordable and affordable. More importantly, I can enjoy such good and high quality food during the trip. Serve. Worth it! ! ! !

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
A great homestay experience, ✨ First glance into the room] Bright and transparent, good sight line 🙋 [For the landlord, I want to say] The reply was timely, the nearby guides were sent in advance, and I also ate the recommended Four Seasons Minfu Roast Duck, which is really good. 📍 [For the convenience of the surroundings, I want to say] The traffic is really convenient. It is very convenient to go to the nearby places to check in. It is ok to ride Chang'an Street at night and ride a bicycle to see the flag raising. 🛏 [Housing facilities I must mention] Everything else is very good, the only lack of air conditioning is not very powerful, too hot for us southerners 🥵🤣🤣🤣 Finally, the family, with the elderly and children to live in super cost-effective, especially we are Monday to Thursday! Super cost-effective

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
The front desk and the corridor are fully heated. When you enter the door, you will feel a blast of hot air. It is very warm. The front desk check-in is very easy. It is divided into three floors. From the lobby entrance is the room corridor on the first floor. The elevator is very spacious and can accommodate many people. , the stay experience is good. Convenient to travel, very close to the North Gate of the Temple of Heaven and very close to the front station.

The chain brand is good! The room is clean and bright, the hotel service staff are very polite, have a good attitude and are very efficient. The breakfast is rich and diverse, including freshly cooked noodles, wontons, stir-fried steamed buns, and the taste is very good! The girl at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, and her smile is warm. I will choose here again when traveling on business.
