Reception team at front desk Satria , Novan, Kwanji and Ari couldn’t be more helpful, nothing was a problem and if they didn’t know they would check and get back to you. Wayan who heads maintenance was extremely helpful. I pointed out a few issues at the villa and were rectified immediately with a smile. I was also amazed with the lack of mosquitoes at this property also the air conditioning was excellent in both the bedroom and lounge room. All the staff throughout the villas with smiles and are very happy with good mornings, afternoons and evenings from all off them. The location is excellent a little driveway off busy Jalan Kerobokan and extremely quiet.Excellent amenities around these villas with a coffee shop and convenience stores literally at the top of the driveway. Less than a 5 minute walk to Jalan Petitenget which is lined with restaurants and bars. We arranged airport pick up with the villas I highly recommend this as our guide helped us through immigration and customs so easily. I have been travelling to Bali since 1985 and have never experienced this before. I have a friend going to Bali who is staying there after my recommendation. I very minor issue was the shower water pressure and I mentioned this to Wayan he said they were in the process of some renovations and upgrading and they would be getting better water pressure. Thank you for making this a very pleasurable trip after such a long time away from Bali Parris

This Villa is amazing!!! I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Whenever we requested anything (from a floating breakfast, breakfast at 4am (since we are having a tour early), to massage treatments) they always did their best to accede to our requests.

Service is great, place is great, comfortable, tidy and clean. Food is nice. Experience is almost perfect, staffs are very nice polite, welcoming, talkative. Location is a little bit far away from city, it makes the location perfect for a quiet and comfy stay.

• It is highly recommended not to bring a car if you stay here because the alley entering the accommodation is narrow (only fits 1 car) and parking is difficult. • Bring your own toiletries because only towels are provided • The AC in my room is not cold enough • In the room there is a refrigerator and mini kitchen so you can cook or stock food • The water heater is ok although sometimes the water pressure is low so the water that comes out of the shower is small. • Spacious rooms • Hospitality from the staff is very satisfying, everyone is really helpful when asked for help.

Is a nice backpackers place to stay for someone looking for an over night or a couple of days. It’s a nice place but there are a few things I didn’t care about there I guess for the price it’s a bargain But at this time no restaurant open here I guess due to covid . Free coffee all the time and water availability down stairs. Shower is nice and hot , the AC cold and the bed is pretty comfortable. Is located in a residential area and has stairs and no elevator. 3 floors. For the price it’s clean and neat room to stay with a pool.
Maharaja Villas Bali

We stayed at the Maharaja Villas & Spa, Seminyak for 4 nights in March. This is a beautiful, well maintained and tranquil place - our villa front door overlooked a rice field and hence was very quiet. There is some building work close to the hotel but this didn’t cause any issues. Our villa was extremely comfortable, spacious and well presented - the villa pool had two loungers and the outdoor sala (where we had breakfast) was really nice. The villa had all of the necessary amenities in the room including tea/coffee making facilities and ample wardrobe space. The staff are amazing - they are really friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and make you feel at home. There were a number of add-ons to our package - these included a one hour massage which was amazing; a floating breakfast in our pool, a complimentary Indonesian Lunch for two and daily afternoon teas - all these were amazing. Worth saying, the food was well presented and very tasty - the service was excellent! The location of the hotel is some distance from Seminyak - this not an issue as the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to both Seminyak and Petitenget Beach area. Shopping in Seminyak square and the surrounding areas is very good - market stalls and shops offer a wide variety of items eg jewelry, souvenirs, clothing, and food. Seminyak Square is a busy place and is definitely the focal point of the town.

It's okay, the environment is good, the kitchen is a bit smaller, Chinese dishes and cauldrons are missing, but the landlord has a good attitude, and said that he would soon add two cauldrons. There is a little lack of it. The bedroom on the first floor and the bedroom on the second floor have windows that open from bottom to top. For families with children, you must look good on the children. The window is easily opened by the children. Too easy to open and fall down, be careful. Finally, I said that because the address is not very accurate, it is still a few hundred meters away from the actual location. We were looking for a long time and didn't find the landlord. I didn't answer the emergency call. The landlord gave a solution and was too satisfied with Ctrip. Here I would like to greatly praise Ctrip

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
