I had a business trip to this beautiful property in Baku. As far as I understood, it is newly rebranded hotel. I was staying in standard room. The room was spacious, but work desk was what I was looking for in order to work on my laptop. I contacted hotel staff and Mr. Ali Aliyev, who was on duty that day, promptly contacted me and offered me to change my room. But my room was enough comfortable for me, so we sorted out my issue by putting a chair and desk into my room. I was happy with the service and hospitality I faced, thanks to Mr. Ali and other hotel staff. Keep it up! Surely will come back again!

We have spent 6 nights at the hotel simply excellent: The most welcoming, sweet, friendliest and helpful staff. Everything is close by :groceries, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants... 20 mins walk to the city center. The rooms are clean, beds are super comfy,pillows as well, yummy breakfast, the omelettes were divine, reminded me of my grandma. The staff arranged for a birthday cake for me as a surprise, what a treat!! the cake was delicious, Thank you Ahmed and the team. We booked a tour to Gabbal and Sheki a must, via the hotel with Ali, a comfy ride, a patient guide, drove us to amazing places, thanks again Ahmed for going that extra mile. Definitely will come again and again, will recommend to my friends and family.

The excellent manager named Edwin, met us as kindly as possible, told about the most delicious restaurants, what sights to visit and where to exchange money. The owner of the hotel also paid special attention to us, treated wine and told a lot of interesting, every evening we spent time in the general company and it was very, very cool! The only good thing about this hotel is the location next to Fountain Square and the included parking. Furthermore the hotel is old, tired, ill maintained, dirty and hardly deserves one star. The four stars came through corruption which is everywhere in this country. The first room on the backside of the hotel on the third floor was so bad that we got another room on the fourth floor. That was probably the suite of the hotel. This room has the view on Fountain Square, but the floor moves as if the beams are broken/rotten. The bathroom smelled and actually nothing is clean or new. The chair in the room had a loose leg en de bedside lamps almost fell apart. For the last night we had to move to another room. Again on the third floor (305), but on the frontside of the hotel. This room had a terrible sqeaking bed with worn out matrasses and an ill maintained bathroom. Breakfast in this hotel is of no any standard. very little choice, blue boiled eggs, products from the day(s) before (not fresh). The elevator didn't work a couple of times, so going up and down by stairs. The hotel staff hardly speaks English. If you don't care about the place to sleep, but want a perfect location in Baku choose this hotel, but if you care just a little about the accommodation: find another hotel !!
