From the moment I arrived and asked for an early checkin, the staff haven been flexible and very engaging. I stay in a lot of hotels and this is one of the best in relation to aesthetics, but most importantly the staff.

Decided to pay a little extra and go with this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the gym is good 👍. Only downside was that the pool is either too cold or too windy. Given the fact that the main recent we booked it was for the pool, it is a shame that we didn’t get to swim much! Staff are very friendly.

During my first trip to Azerbaijan, I really hesitated for a long time when booking a hotel. Finally, we booked the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel, which is very close to the ancient city metro station.
From the conclusion, it is correct to book the Sheraton Baku International Travel Service Hotel, which is very cost-effective.
1. It is very close to the Gucheng subway station, about 10 minutes' walk. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the ancient city.
There is an underground passage to the right of the hotel door. After passing through, you will find the seaside park to see the Caspian Sea. The rooms and restaurants on the Caspian Sea side have beautiful sea views without any obstruction. It is so happy to watch the sunrise and have breakfast every day.
2. Very close to the Carpet Museum, a few hundred meters
3. There is a large shopping mall and supermarket just a few hundred meters away, making shopping convenient.
4. There was another small episode during this stay. After I checked in that day, I found that the room was different from the room type I had booked, so I reported it to the front desk. As a result, a large tour group had just checked in that day and no room was available. Mr. Samad at the front desk and Elvira, the blonde manager, actively helped us solve the problem and thoughtfully gave us snacks, fruits, etc., and also attached a handwritten note. of cards.
It can be seen from here that the employees of Sheraton Baku International Travel Service Hotel are well-trained, and the communication between employees and between superiors and subordinates is accurate and efficient, giving the impression that all employees are working together to provide the best service. Moreover, the manager Elvira often went to the restaurant to check the dishes. When he saw us dining, he immediately came over to ask if there were any problems and how we were resting. I have been in Japan for more than 20 years and have worked for Japanese airlines. I think that Japan’s service is world-class. Unexpectedly, I also experienced service at the Baku International Travel Service Sheraton Hotel in Azerbaijan that is not inferior to Japan’s.
Besides, the restaurant is also very good. The breakfast is rich in variety and the dishes are often changed. Every chef works conscientiously. They not only cook the dishes, but also pay attention to everything about the guests. When picking up the dishes, if you are not careful, the tongs will touch. Looking at the lighting above the dishes, the two chefs immediately adjusted the lights above the dishes. Among the breads, the croissant pie type is most recommended. It is freshly baked, crispy and very delicious. Of course, whole wheat and nut breads are also good. Mr. Murad from the restaurant also greeted us in Chinese, often came over to see what we needed, and then brought us hot coffee or tea. They are always paying attention to their guests and you can really feel their warm service.
Regarding towels, mineral water, slippers, etc., call the front desk, and the handsome guy from the room service will bring them immediately, very fast. I stayed at the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel for eight nights. It is like this every time. It is very good.
I have returned home after my trip to Baku, Azerbaijan, and I would like to sincerely thank all the hotel staff, headed by the beautiful manager Elvira, for giving me many good experiences and new feelings during my trip. Next time I go to Baku, Azerbaijan, I hope to stay at the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel. Thanks again to all the staff.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Baku was very comfortable. The Staff was warm and helpful. The Location is excellent. The Breakfast was sumptuous and the timings relaxed. One member of the Staff at breakfast took it on himself to remind us to come early, everyday. On a lighter note ! No complaints, we were always served well. The Rooms are large and well appointed, it was important for us as it was an 8 days stay. I would strongly recommend this Hotel for Stay in Baku.

Great new hotel. We warned the hotel in advance that we were on a honeymoon. The hotel gave us a wonderful surprise: they upgraded our room and decorated everything with petals and swans made from towels. Expensive bed linen, excellent mattresses and pillows. We had a great night's sleep. Excellent sound insulation. Location next to the Heydar Aliyev Center. It takes 10 minutes to get to the embankment by taxi.
We went to the spa: large sauna, hammam, steam room. Swimming pool with water at a comfortable temperature. Delicious varied breakfasts.
We are grateful to the hotel for the excellent service and unforgettable moments after the wedding. We will definitely come back here again.

Dear Qafqaz Baku City Hotel Team, I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Qafqaz Baku City Hotel for making my stay an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, I was impressed by the professionalism, hospitality, and warmth of everyone I interacted with. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in providing excellent service, ensuring that every guest feels special and valued. A special mention goes to the amazing Guest Relations team, particularly Elfan and Aydan. Their kindness, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring my comfort made all the difference. They took the time to ask about my preferences, offer personalized recommendations, and check in on how my day went. It’s rare to meet such genuinely caring individuals who clearly love what they do. I was especially touched by the thoughtful gesture of presenting me with a cake for my upcoming birthday. It was not only delicious but also a beautiful and unexpected surprise. Such gestures truly highlight the care and effort that Qafqaz Baku City Hotel puts into creating meaningful experiences for its guests. Thank you once again for everything. I will certainly recommend your hotel to others and look forward to returning in the future. Warm regards,

We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕

GGuest UserVery easy to reach on foot, great!
Very friendly and professional, thank you!
But my room wasn't clean. Dust, other people's hair,... and the bathroom could do with a good clean. Chlorine is best... mold and toothpaste residue.
The outdoor pool is highly recommended! Awesome!!!
The coffee and food are delicious!
I stayed in this hotel from 11th august to 14 august 2024 ( Three nights). Only reason to stay in this hotel is it's location, very close to Nizami street. Super market is just in this hotel building, Taxi stand is just 50 meters from hotel. The room are good, neat & clean. But Lobby is very very small. Only two chairs for the guests. Only one staff in reception. so room check- in takes longer time. The lady on reception is very soft spoken and helping nature. The worst part is breakfast. Very limited items. For vegetarians, virtually no hot item. Dry fruits are infested with worms. . Fruits are never fresh and mostly rotten. Tea coffee are never hot. In my three days stay, same breakfast menu. No activity in hotel.
GGuest UserAmazing stay , excellent service from the reception above above excellence ! ,The location is perfect everything is a walk a way ! Perfect hotel .. the only issue is the housekeeping they dont clean they only arrange .. I faced issue with the toilet and noticed that its wasnt cleaned at all! Even the room tissue box was empty they didnt fill it they didnt notice because they dont clean even when I requested tissue box it was kept a side not in the tissue box container .. However, receptionist are always eager to help and assist they even offer the cleaning service mid night just to help ! A perfect hotel they only need to work on elevating the housekeepers
Note: rooms at a lower level and on a particular road are very noisy because of the cars you cant sleep , so request moving to a higher floor or another side of the hotel
GGuest UserI had a great stay at ibis Baku on my trip to Baku, this was my 2nd trip and 2nd stay at the same hotel, rooms are still refreshing and looks quite new and updated, every other facilities are available which is mandatory , the staff is courteous and helpful in all the aspects. My special thanks to Mr. Bashir ( Duty Manager) for helping me and assisting through out the stay. He really goes out of his way to make sure the guests are happy and satisfied. Thanks to the other team members namely - Rufat and Naila as they kept meeting me all the time when I was at hotel during my stay, Overall a decent stay to remember and would definitely be coming again and again once I am in Baku again. Thanks so much to the ibis Baku Team.
AAmmad KhalilOur Flight got cancelled due to visa issues, we went to a different hotel called MAAJID HOTEL in old city,
Before yesterday we were here for 5 nights, after spending one night in maajid hotel we missed the amenities & luxuries we had in this hotel so early morning we decided to come back to AUSTIN HOTEL BAKU again because its in the heart of baku , every time whether its day or night you look outside the window, you see the world alive in nice dresses & good moods, i would say its the HILTON HOTEL OF VEGAS in Baku.
No scam at all but please book this hotel only through trip.com because trip.com get you half price, i came here personally to check the price for a room , they quoted me a $100 night which is reasonable but i opened trip.com app & found the same room price in just $50 a night then i try to book & its done in just 1 minute.
No Scam
No overcharge
Very friendly staff
Staff is so good like they talk to you like they are your family members.
I am very impressed, i will visit this hotel again & again & again but only through trip.com
GGuest UserWe arrived ahead of time, the administrator Elena, a very nice woman, greeted us like family and checked us in, for which we thank you very much. There were three of us and we were looking for a hotel with a room with 3 separate beds. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. There were omelet coffee breakfasts on the terrace for an additional fee. Transfer is available for an extra charge. They arrived with a breeze. Thank you very much for the warm welcome, we will come again.
Location: Excellent Personnel: Excellent Breakfast: Good - Excellent Overall: Excellent Our trip went nice and safe. Most of the Land Marks are within 15 - 20 min of walk-able distance. For tours, we have taken the help of Reception personnel in Baku and outside. We traveled by Taxi - best is to get a local SIM and download BOLT Application - not worth having a rented car especially at the rush hours... Airport is 20-25 min by car; pick-up and drop off from/to Airport was arranged by Reception personnel. Nice experience which we plan to repeat.
GGuest UserI don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. Shown in photos. Also the bathr
GGuest UserI took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but the taxi driver made a mistake and took us to another Wyndham Hotel in a different area. No wonder the front desk couldn’t find our check-in information... Later, we contacted the Wyndham Hotel for our order, and we took a taxi again It was already very late when we checked in. The front desk helped us upgrade to a king-size bed room for free, and stayed for 2 nights later. The hotel is generally good, but if you don’t drive by yourself, you need to take a taxi to get in and out.
AArtyom PetukhovWhen I checked in I was told the door is broken so I could not open it with the electronic key and they'll open it, but it's gonna be fixed the next day. Of course it was never fixed and I had to ask the staff to open it for me every time. Felt REALLY awkward. Then some day some random woman (she was working here I believe) just opened my door and walked in while I was in my room at midnight, saw me, said sorry and run away. What was that I have no idea, but it kinda gives you an idea about their take on privacy. The TV was not working, because the cable was literally torn apart, the WiFi broke down several times and one time it was more than 24 hours. The showerhead was broken, the water from the shower never went the way it supposed to, but straight to the floor, the toilet was not really attached to the floor (thankfully it was attached to communications). With that being said, I still think the hotel is okay for the price, the room was nice, big and clean and had a personal balcony and the staff were really friendly.
