Perfect for a one or two night stop. Kypseli is a bit down at heel as a district, but it's safe and there are excellent eating opportunities at St George's Square. 12 minutes walk from Viktoria Metro, so you can get to the airport in about 90 minutes with a change at Monasteraki.
Rooms are simple, functional and clean. Bed is super comfortable, especially if you prefer a soft mattress. Everything is pin code operated for access after 9 pm so can't comment on staff.
Very good value.
The hotel is nice, the breakfast is good, it's close to the subway station, and the rooms are spacious. The only downside is that the single room bed is made up of two single beds pushed together, which wasn't very comfortable.
A very clean budget hotel near the city center, in the multicultural Kypseli neighborhood of Athens. To catch the metro, go to Victoria station. Alternatively, there are bus lines connecting this area with the rest of Athens. The staff is kind and welcoming.
First of all shout out to the cleaning ladies they did a great job cleaning my room everyday and I know their work is pretty hard. Second the people at the reception are lovely and kind, very helpful when asking questions and very nice to talk to. The room was even bigger than the pictures I loved it and felt so comfortable. Also nice that they have Netflix!!!
Pame wild will be my go to hotel when I visit Athens again!!
LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed.
We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony.
The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries.
There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern.
We were also able to store our cases after a late check out.
Thank you Hotel Areos and Harris
I traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!
Place is spacious enough for a family of 12. Clean and well mantained. Nicholas the person in charge was very helpful. Place is also close to metro and many mini markets for food/snacks. One thing i was blindsided with was the 20euro tax per person . I know about the refundable 150euro deposit but not the 20 euro tax per person. So maybe put that obviously written somewhere? Thank you! Other than that everything else was terrific. Would definitely stay here again if i were to visit athens again
The hotel is newly renovated, the cleanliness inside is OK, I saw a bed and a sofa bed, indicating that there is a child 15 years old, there is no extra quilt after entering, contacted the management staff, said that I did not indicate that I want to sleep separately, the price of two adults is two people sleep a bed, So there was no extra quilt for me, let me open the sofa bed and go to the luggage room to find something to cover, and then no one cares about me. In addition, the toilet is difficult to flush without throwing in any paper, and the floor drain will make a loud sound of backwater. The sound of the power distribution room outside the room was also very scary. Maybe the location of the room for me is not good.
The stay was good. The service was decent, the food was good, and the staff were friendly enough. The rooms were clean, and the location was convenient.
Nicola Hotel in Athens offers clean, budget-friendly rooms near Pedion Areos park. The staff is friendly and helpful, and breakfast is included. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Great value for short stays, though the decor is dated. Ideal for travelers seeking affordability.
