Second, the ancient city of Huizhou is known as the four best-preserved ancient cities in China together with Lijiang in Yunnan, Pingyao in Shanxi, and Langzhong in Sichuan. The B&B in the ancient city is naturally a superior choice. Third, according to the introduction, the B&B was renovated from an ancient house. It not only retains the original style of Huizhou ancient buildings, but also displays many cultural relics, which can allow adults and children to grow their knowledge together. The room types of the guild hall are diverse. Unfortunately, when booking, only the Japanese and British style rooms were left, so we chose the Earl Rose room type, where the family stayed. The two beds were spacious and comfortable. Next time I have the opportunity, I must come to experience the Chinese or nautical-themed parent-child room type. After returning from visiting the ancient city in the evening, I drank tea and chatted in the courtyard while playing games. The temperature was suitable and it was very comfortable. The next morning, we had local specialty noodles with toppings for breakfast at the B&B, and the taste was unforgettable.

Jiang Xiangtai Tea Culture Hall is renovated from four ancient Huizhou houses. It is not only a museum with the theme of Huizhou merchants' tea, but also the cultural relics and old photos reproduce the grand scene of the Jiang family as Huizhou tea merchants. There is even an ocean-going sailing ship in the central hall, which is a concentrated reproduction of the scene of Huizhou merchants' tea making and trade. The blue bricks and tiles are ancient and quaint. It is also a characteristic homestay, teahouse and restaurant. Take a rest in the corridor and taste the Huizhou-style afternoon tea around the fire, focusing on a slow life. Entering the room actually feels like the Peace Hotel! Chinese, Japanese, British, Japanese and maritime culture themes.

There is also a tea culture experience on the first floor of the homestay, and the special breakfast is delicious! The service attitude is also very good, gentle and polite! A fruit plate was given! You can also learn tea tasting knowledge from the store!

We chose this B&B just for the ancient Huizhou architecture. The four sisters went on a spontaneous micro-trip 🧳 and chose rooms with different themes, including Japanese tatami, Taoist theme, British theme, Chinese palace style... The rooms are all wooden houses, so the sound insulation is not very good, but it doesn't prevent everyone from sleeping well! The breakfast is great, with steamed buns, noodles, and fruits. There are also fish lanterns in the hotel, which the kids love!

This trip was so fun, and I discovered a treasure homestay. Because I was traveling with my baby, I booked a parent-child room at Yuehai Yangfan, and she liked it very much. The location of the homestay is very good, and there are parking spaces. It is right on Dousan Street, and it is also convenient to go to the government office, a 10-minute walk. What is particularly special is that the homestay organizes parent-child activities, which allows children to have the opportunity to experience picking organic tea. After picking and packing, they can take it home. This is not available in other places. The children are so happy! The breakfast is also great, with steamed buns, noodles, fruits, and a cup of tea. The baby said that she would come again during the summer vacation.
