Fantastic stay at Quality Hotel Sogndal. Staff at reception, breakfast and bar were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, and well layed out, all necessities available, and mattresses, duvets and pillows excellent. The hotel has three restaurants, we tried only Vagal (excellent burgers) and Pergola (lovely pastas and pizzas), and really enjoyed the food and wine on offer. Loved our stay at the Quality - will definitely come back again!

We spent two nights in a one bedroom cottage here and we very satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious, with everything a visitor could need for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting accommodation options that were the most useful to us rather than what we would pay most for. The resort is very conveniently placed for exploring local fjords, mountains etc. It's great for families, offering a warm pool and a large playing area with complicated climbing structures, inflatables, slides and play houses for children to enjoy.

The hotel is quite worn down. Since we had dogs with us we had a room at bottom floor facing the garden, which was great, but the room was in no way meeting the price level. It was really worn down and quite small. Breakfast was meeting our expectations, we don’t mind being positively surprised though - didn’t happen here. Personnel from reception, management to breakfast waitresses weren’t smiling ONCE. Exception was a night manager. If you travel with dogs you know that you have to accept limited access to all areas, that’s fine, but if you allow pets in certain rooms one is expecting to be able to bring them to, for instance, the lobby area. Cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel is quite worn down. Since we had dogs with us we had a room at bottom floor facing the garden, which was great, but the room was in no way meeting the price level. It was really worn down and quite small. Breakfast was meeting our expectations, we don’t mind being positively surprised though - didn’t happen here. Personnel from reception, management to breakfast waitresses weren’t smiling ONCE. Exception was a night manager. If you travel with dogs you know that you have to accept limited access to all areas, that’s fine, but if you allow pets in certain rooms one is expecting to be able to bring them to, for instance, the lobby area. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay at Quality Hotel Sogndal. Staff at reception, breakfast and bar were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, and well layed out, all necessities available, and mattresses, duvets and pillows excellent. We spent two nights in a one bedroom cottage here and we very satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious, with everything a visitor could need for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting accommodation options that were the most useful to us rather than what we would pay most for. The resort is very conveniently placed for exploring local fjords, mountains etc. It's great for families, offering a warm pool and a large playing area with complicated climbing structures, inflatables, slides and play houses for children to enjoy.

The hotel is quite worn down. Since we had dogs with us we had a room at bottom floor facing the garden, which was great, but the room was in no way meeting the price level. It was really worn down and quite small. Breakfast was meeting our expectations, we don’t mind being positively surprised though - didn’t happen here. Personnel from reception, management to breakfast waitresses weren’t smiling ONCE. Exception was a night manager. If you travel with dogs you know that you have to accept limited access to all areas, that’s fine, but if you allow pets in certain rooms one is expecting to be able to bring them to, for instance, the lobby area. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay at Quality Hotel Sogndal. Staff at reception, breakfast and bar were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, and well layed out, all necessities available, and mattresses, duvets and pillows excellent. The hotel has three restaurants, we tried only Vagal (excellent burgers) and Pergola (lovely pastas and pizzas), and really enjoyed the food and wine on offer. Loved our stay at the Quality - will definitely come back again!
