Hyatt Regency Dubai - Corniche map

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days, and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The only truly pleasant part of our stay was the room cleaning. The person who cleaned our room was incredibly kind and attentive, always leaving everything perfectly clean. Many thanks to him — it genuinely improved our overall experience. During our stay, several unpleasant situations occurred. First, upon check-in we were placed in a room on a lower floor with a strong smell of dampness. Later we were moved to a higher floor, but the smell was noticeable almost everywhere and became especially strong by the end of the trip. After returning home, I had to rewash all our clothes with fabric softener because they had absorbed this unpleasant odor. It feels like the hotel is old and generally has a persistent musty smell. Second, due to heavy rains, there was a leak. As compensation, we were offered a complimentary item at the restaurant. However, honestly speaking, the food there was disappointing. Overall, the food at the hotel — both in the restaurant and at breakfast — was not tasty. The breakfast menu clearly needs to be reconsidered: there was too much greasy food and too many spices, which does not really resemble international cuisine. There were no desserts at all — only the same pastries every day (croissants and bread/buns). There were no basic vegetables such as cucumbers and tomatoes, nothing light for breakfast. As a result, I ended up eating pancakes almost every day — they were acceptable and closer to what we consider a proper breakfast. I also tried the yogurts and cereals, but they were bland and tasteless. At the same time, it is worth noting that the food in the city restaurants was excellent, so the issue is clearly with the hotel’s kitchen.

It’s an old hotel with outdated amenities. Paid more for club access but food and drinks weren’t of the greatest variety or quality. Goes the same for breakfast choices too. Service is of the Hyatt-highest standard though, kudos to the team!

It was a memorable stay indeed. The breakfast fast buffet was excellent and so do all the staff. Smooth check-in and check out. Room was clean and especially the Galleria mall attached with the hotel has a supermarket where all the groceries can be found. Location is also good and is in the heart of dubai.

It was so glad staying at Hyaat regency Dubai. It was really pleasure time there. I’ll book my next trip again here.

The experience is amazing for a few reasons: 1. The hotel service is top notch professional - I lost my camera on a taxi back to hotel, and the hotel manager, Mr. Adnan, helped me get it back! He volunteered to check the security footage to track the taxi car plate, and taught me to go to RTA to register Lost and Found. He helped me contact the taxi driver, and 9 hours later - my lost camera is back! Suuuuuper helpful and world class professional! 2. The hotel is connected to a pharmacy. We had a family member who got stomachache on arrival, and thanks to the pharmacy, we got the right medicine right away. The pharmacy opens 8am to 12am! 3. The lounge offers both breakfast AND DINNER 4. The hotel has a Chinese restuarant called Summer Palace. It is FANTASTIC AUTHEMTIC Chinese food. The manager is from Iran but speaks perfect native Chinese. This hotel is full of surprises and beyond just a five star hotel - it provides one stop solution to all the problems we might have in our trip. Bravo!
