|11.11km from downtownIt was a very novel experience. It was my first time staying in a cabin. It was really close to nature. It was so fun. I saw a rainforest frog on the handrail for the first time. I wanted to tease it, but it jumped away. The staff was warm and friendly. They might not always be there. You need to have a phone number to contact them. If you haven't experienced a cabin before, you can definitely try it once. You need to bring your own toothbrush and toiletries, or go to a nearby convenience store to buy them. You also need to prepare mosquito repellent.

|10.3km from downtownIn all honesty this is a really good budget choice. The service was amazing. Do they have a concierge and bell boy ? No. But they are extremely polite and always smiles. Whenever I had a question they would gladly try to help me. The rooms are what you pay for. The ac works and the internet as well. There is in fact a reception there despite trip saying there isn’t. They also have a cafe: restaurant on site which serves good coffee and food. It’s neatly located a 3 min walk to the beach. I tried both standard and family room. Is it the freshest?No. I think it’s clean but sheets are stained. Walls as well and so on. If ur on a budget, I 100% recommend this spot.

Although it was opened in 2009, the facilities and equipment are very new, the rooms are very big, there is a small yard, and the swimming pool is at the door. The accommodation environment is very quiet and the ecological environment is great. It is my dream villa! The breakfast at the hotel is very Western-style, the coffee is freshly ground and hand-brewed, and the thick egg yoguraki is absolutely delicious, with no flaws at all!
The boss’ grandfather is Irish and has lived in Langkawi for 24 years! The hotel does not accept children very much because they are afraid that children will affect the rest of other guests. However, the grandpa saw that our children were very well-behaved, so he made an exception and accommodated us. Of course, we were kept quiet the whole time.

Most of the people staying in are foreigners. The hotels are townhouses with small tables and chairs outside. The hotel’s own swimming pool is very clean and suitable for children to play. Wake up in the morning, the child accidentally discovered the little squirrel on the coconut tree. He was very excited. The only drawback is that the hotel does not provide breakfast, and there is no shop nearby for breakfast. The hotel is within a 5-minute walk of the famous Zhuofeng Seafood, Zhonghua Tower, and Zhenlang Ice Cream. There is a big life supermarket next to the Zhonghua Tower, where you can buy bread and instant noodles. In short, we highly recommend this hotel, it is quiet and private, and there are few people in Cenang Beach at this end, the sunset is so beautiful!

|7.39km from downtownA great stay! This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large and very local. The paintings on the wall and the decorations are carefully selected. The breakfast is also great, with a wide variety and good taste. They also prepared local specialty pastries and their homemade jams. We also ordered cheese omelet, which is very smooth and fragrant when eaten alone, and it is another enjoyment to eat it in toast. It's really great!
The only drawback may be the location, which is a little hidden. You have to go in from a small road, don't be scared. But you can still get a grab, but it takes a little more time. It takes about ten minutes to take a taxi from Chenang Beach and not far from the airport.
Facilities: The equipment is very complete, and the most surprising thing is that the toilet is actually smart.
Hygiene: Very good. Someone cleans it every day.
Environment: The environment is very beautiful, as if you are in the isolated nature. The infinity pool is great, and you can see squirrels and monkeys!
Service: Very good! Every staff member is very friendly. If you encounter some problems during your stay, they will be solved immediately, and the efficiency is very high.

|10.38km from downtownLocation not bad, being at the quieter end yet still within walking distance to the F&B and shops. Beam scooters avaliable in about 2 minites walking. Free parking space available but they might need to repaint the lines. No visible security measures and no gate at the entrance/exit. Haven't seen any security guard around and the guard house been empty whenever I passed by. The whole premise is open to access even at the back. The room door only has a door knob lock (latch), a safety concern since anyone could break in easily or duplicate the key. No lift, by the way, for people with heavy or bulky luggage. Room has a lot of space for luggage and circulation. Table and wardrobe are big enough for use. Small TV screen with limited channels. Has both ceiling fan and wall-mount air-con but the air-con takes very long to cool the room. For light-sleepers, the air-con, mini fridge and ceiling fan can be noisy for you but was ok for me. Bathroom sapce is decent. No shelf for toiletries at the shower area though. Biggest problem for me would be the water pressure too small for showering. Spent more than double the usual time showering because of very little water from the showerhead. Good that the ventilation window has mosquito net. There are 2 power points in the bathroom for use. Room cleaning everyday around noon, but you have to be in to reject it if you don't wish them to enter as there is no Do Not Disturb signage. So far all staff I encountered were very friendly and easy to communicate. Overall fine. Hope to see more improvement.

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the beach. It takes about 10 minutes on foot to the center of Pantai Cenang, but you can enjoy it because you can walk while looking at various shops.
The shower does not have hot water. However, there is no problem in keeping the body clean.
All the staff greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable.

There is a swimming pool, shared kitchen.
Rooms 1 through 9 seem to be older than those 10.
We stayed for 7 days, on the 3rd they changed our sheets, towels and took out the trash.
An extra bed for a child is a foam mattress on the floor - 20 myr, not worth it.
There are small ants in the toilet, they do not cause problems.
There is a shared barbecue outside.
We never saw the owners during 7 days).
It is a 20-minute walk to the sea.

And the fact that the back door of the hotel was directly connected to the ocean was nice. However, there was no refrigerator in the room, and I had to use the communal refrigerator in front of the reception, which was a bit inconvenient.
In front of the reception, there were free bread and cookies in the morning, so I could easily bake bread, and there were microwaves and cooking utensils, so I think it was nice that I could cook for myself.
The hotel was a little far from the main street. But it wasn't so far that I couldn't walk.

Location was great, opposite Chenang Beach, loads of eateries nearby and nightlife market around the corner. Free parking at hotel also.

|9.69km from downtownWe had an amazing stay at temple tree resort, the colonial houses are beautiful and well maintained, the spacious garden and swimming pool were great! But the overall atmosphere and friendly staff made us not want to leave the hotel.
It’s prefect to relax at terrace with a book and a nice glass of wine or a fresh pressed juice. Check out their food as wel!! Would definitely come back to temple tree when visiting langkawi again.

Once you enter and complete the registration, juice or beer will be attached for use. The front desk can also help arrange car rental for 80 RM a day. The surrounding environment is pretty good. There are many cats around the room. Be careful when you open the door and rush into the room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool to relax and play. It is not far from Cenang Beach. The TV in the room has no channels to watch, but it will help to put breakfast In the refrigerator, there are juice, bread, yogurt, milk and fruits, which are pretty good. Only 13 RM tax per night will be charged at the scene, which is unexpected!

First the things going for this place is the location
Right at the beachfront you need to hardly walk a few steps regardless where your room is. Its Ideal place for elder vacationers and families with small kids.The beach has fine sand no jagged stones and its a huge private beach.The water is not clear or blue as would hope for but it is clean only even for this reason the stay is worth it.The place is serene with trees and plants. There is no high rise construction all the accomodation is on the ground atmost on 1st floor.Its all in villa style.The concept of being environment friendly is inspiring and rare in hotel business.
The second amazing thing abou this resort is its service and hospitality which felt genuine. You truly feel like guests here. Nothing in this resort speaks of commercial. I am really grateful that they modified my bookings eventhough by rule modification wasnt allowed.Almost every employee in the resort greeted us with smiles . At the buffet the manager was very cordial and responsive to guest needs even special requirements.
Unfortunately the resort has become old and needs dire maintainence and renoavtion.
The main doors if the room have a cheap feel and lacks weight doesnt feel premium.
The quality of paint on the walls is inferior quality .
Paint has not been applie in a professional way. All the furniture in the room is wooden which is a good things but it is worned down hasnt been polished or painted properly its all blotchy which makes it feel cheap.
Tauting it self as a green resort the landscaping is just not up to the mark, too much yellow in between the greens. The grass is unkempt and many places it seems it hasnt been cut in a while.
The swimming pools are very small in comparision to the resort and lacks sauna or steam bath.
Of 2 jacuzzis one was out of order.
All over the resort there are many such amenities
That are put of orders broken and dilipidated surprisingly all these issues can be addressed very easily i am speaking from experience i am willing to take a contract if the owner wants and i can turn around the resort at an econimical price.
I think the resort has come into a comfort zone from which it needs to come out.

The resort is considered quite new but just only a few years, the sink is already cracked, the door of the toilet is already not working well.. it's not well maintained. Rooms are very small and no view at all.. luckily they noticed my comment on wanting a room that is away from the loud music at the pool side.. we got the corner room. The sound proofing is very bad as well.. we can hear practically everything from outside.. we have neighbours that is coming in and out of the room all night and we keep hearing talking, baby crying, door opening and closing.. all night till late.. quite annoying. No cup for brushing teeth.. the only beautiful part is the pool but facilities are not well maintained as well.

Our five-point flight to Langkawi Airport, driving out after Zhenzhen Looking for an hour in South Beach, I didn't find it. I finally asked a lot of local Chinese. I called and checked the map. I finally found the hotel at nine o'clock in the evening. General environment, breakfast in general, come to Langkawi holiday travel, or forget it! The boss is a young Malay who can only communicate in simple English, but people are very enthusiastic!

Cleanliness in the room is ok. The staff service is also good. The only problem is that the parking lot is quite limited, but the staff who take care of the parking lot are very helpful. Nearby places to eat.. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Malibest and will come again.
