It was already 11 o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The room type we booked was no longer available. We were upgraded to a superior room for free. Special praise to Xiao Le and Xiao Li at the front desk. They have beautiful voices and sweet voices and were very patient in upgrading our room. Knowing that we had two children, the housekeeper sent us two pairs of children's slippers and toiletries when we arrived in the room. I will stay in this hotel next time I come back from Sanya.

These buildings have been carefully and lovingly restored through the efforts of the property owner and a dedicated architect—both men were at the homestay during my visit, which was a treat. Comfy bed, delicious food, lovely and attentive staff—if you need anything, just ask. I enjoyed just wandering around and getting lost in the village.
