Checked into this hotel at abt 8 or 9pm, cos we could not stand the hotel we checked in earlier. Was so glad that we got a beautiful deluxe room for ourselves at this timing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The reception even accommodated my last minute request for a birthday surprise for my hubby at midnight. They were so nice!! They prepared a choco lava cake with a birthday candle and a Happy Birthday wish on the plate. And 2 staff were there singing a Happy Birthday song as well. Hubby was very much caught by surprise. The room was great - spacious with sofa and armchairs with nice looking furniture, the whole room is very clean with a nice cosy setting, bathroom amenities was great, and the king bed and pillows were so comfortable I had the best sleep in many months! The best sleep was definitely the highlight of my holiday this time round 🤭 Location is awesome as its so near to Nagoya Hill Mall, all we had to do was just go by the back way. Breakfast is nice and filling. I'm not really a picky water so being full is good for me. We had a great view from our room as well. It was such a pleasure and a redemption from the bad service we unfortunately had to receive from our earlier booking at another hotel. The rooms are really as nice as the photos they uploaded. Really made our day here at Grand I Hotel. Thank you to all the staff who have served us during our stay 28 to 30 Jan 2023 at Room 627. We are really grateful for a wonderful holiday and birthday experience here. We will definitely be back here when we come to Batam again. Keep up the good work!

suitable for backpackers or those on a tight budget. room is spacious. aircon working. tv working with many channels, wifi works well. location is away from main road, not vibrant but can walk 15 min to the nearest mall. at night, seafood restaurant comes alive near the hotel. deposit of 100 k indonesian rupiah.

Honestly chose this hotel because I have a business to go to the Holy Spirit Hospital and just leave it easy. But with a pretty cheap price (294 thousand for a Deluxe room) not bad the friendly staff, the lobby and elevator are fragrant, the room is quite clean even though in the bathtub the bathroom has stains.. Only the AC in room 411 is ”old” which is not allowed to be replaced. Because the swing is not working. The room is quite large, still able to enter an extra bed (150rb per night).. Breakfast is pretty good although the type is not much but it feels okay around the hotel there are many food shops and there are alphamart and indomare, it's not quite okay for those who don't bring a car Well for those who happen to have business to the Royal Buddha Hospital or the Bunda Hope Hospital, Choose this hotel, just let's just drop the luggage after checking out, it's not a problem with the luggage right to the hospital, the staff is super friendly and helpful, 1

Very efficient Check-in and Check-out as the items inside the fridge are complimentary. The staff at the Oriental resto for b'fast and the x'mas dinner were pretty attentive and we also had a pleasant experience with their security and hk staff. Grab can drop-off at the lobby but you have to 'grab' one from outside the main road at the vehicle exit point of the hotel driveway. B'fast items, although in variety are not of quality standards as compared to hotels in Thailand, which is inclusive in the room pricing. Same for their X'mas Dinner! Good location, and to Grand Batam Mall is only about S$2.50 where you can cross the road to A2 foodcourt and BCS mall. Taxi from Batam Center to hotel is standard at 70K IDR if you don't want to lug your bags to the roundabout outside which is a distance away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

The Hills is one of the Options if Batam is crowded during the peak periods.It offers a better licatiin and near to popular mall sych as Nagoya.Streetfoods available at surrounding areas especially at night.Hotel quite clean and standards.Price reasonable s.

First time stayed at Evitel hotel and was a nice,clean and decent 3 stars hotel. Room is quite clean with all the basic necessities.Hotel is about 5mins walk to Nagoya Hill shopping mall.Reauest for hair dryer and was sent to us last than 5mins.We will come back to stay with Evitel hotel for our next trip and will strongly recommend to our friends to stay in this friendly and nice hotel. Thanks to christine the hotel reception for her helpfulness to call grab to ferry terminal.And lastly not to forget the most friendly, courteous and welcoming manager,Ms Tanti.

The room was cosy and very clean. The bathroom was also sized nicely. Location wise, there were quite a number of food stalls very bear the hotel and quite near to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall. That said, the breakfast area can be considered abit small. It showed during the Deepavali weekend where odd and even numbered rooms were given different time slots for breakfast. The kitchen seened unable to cope with the mounting number of guests as there were instances the replenishment took a longer time. However, overall, my stay at the hotel was a good one!

Location is just a step away from Nagoya hill mall. Value for money. Only Hollywood room is with king size bed and free coffee and tea. Standard/Smart room is twin and queen bed to choose from. No coffee and tea for smart and standard room, only bottle water is given. Breakfast is simple , don’t aspect too much. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Eateries, spa, barber and all that you need is around the hotel area. Very convenient. Save money on transport. Overall is a great stay. Will stay again. Do note that this hotel is not for guest that aspect a 5/4 star hotel standard with a value of a 2 star hotel.
