Laleli
Istanbul
|1.86km from downtownWe are staying in this hotel right now and it is simply amazing. I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel as there weren't that many reviews. I took a gamble and it is well worth it. It is bit on the expensive side but amenities make up for the additional cost. Hotel was opened a couple of years ago but due to pandemic it has hardly been used. Pretty much everything looks brand new. Pros: We are in a triple room with a balcony and it is very spacious. There is a mini fridge in the room along with a large cabinet. Interestingly, TV is hidden in the large mirror in the middle of the room so it serves dual purpose. Air conditioner is solid and it got quite cold at night. As it is a newer hotel, they have incorporated a few new technologies. One strange thing; there is a window in the bathroom that faces the room. Why? 😂. If your room faces the street, it can get a bit noisy. But not enough to bother. Breakfast was simply awesome. Selection was quite large. Breakfast is served on the rooftop which has a fantastic view of Laleli Camii. Breakfast is probably the highlight of our stay! There is a spa/hammam in the building. Hammam is supposedly free from 2 to 6pm. But I haven't tried it yet. There is a swimming pool across the street in their sister hotel called Beethoven Premium. No swimming pool in this building. There is a small area to pray, mescit, in the basement. Majority of the staff is friendly. One of the receptionists could use a little more welcoming smile. Hotel is in the commercial shopping market. Majority of the attractions are a good 15 to 20 minutes walk. And it is not a straight walk as there are a lots of ups and downs as Istanbul terrain is quite hilly. There are a few restaurants near by. Famous Laleli Camii (masjid) is three minutes walk. It is an ideal hotel for a business person. Families/vacationers who want to stay closer to the attractions should try something a bit closer to attractions. Overall an amazing hotel.

|11.95km from downtownChecked in no problem. Room was on the 1000 level. The room was fine. Comfy enough bed, decent shower, a little dark but fine. However, at 0044 I had not long fallen asleep and was awoken by some music. To begin with I could not figure out where the music was coming from, I called reception and found out that there was a function on and the music was coming through the walls. The receptionist told me that he would sort it out. He must of as I managed to fall asleep for 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, the tunes came back on but even louder, again I called down to reception. This time I told him if he cant get the music sorted I wanted a room move. he said he'd call back in 5 mins. By this time (0115) I had enough after been travelling since 0600 and up for work at 0800 I was not wiating any longer. I packed what I had left to pack and went down stairs to get moved. Where I had the most uncomfortable experience with the receptionist. I told the guy I wanted a room change, he said he was sorry he didn't have any. I stared at him rather displeased as you would at that time. I said well, what do you suggest?! The volume was ridiculous. After sending the bellboy down to request a volume change again, he shuffled avoiding eye contact and moving around papers. I think he just thought I was going to shrug my shoulders and go back to my bed. I stared at him for a minute more and raised my voice, asked him what the hell is happening? Its nearly 0130 and am standing here tired as F**K, demanded he better sort something out or I wanted the manager. After some more awkwardness he then produced a key card for a different room. I told him all that nonsence in the last ten mins could easily have been avoided. If he didn't lie to me and say there were no rooms. The room ended up being really quiet, however it was like an oven and I could not get it cool. I was knackered so fell asleep anyway. That mattress will need a few days in the sun to dry out the amount I sweated in it. I went down to breakfast in the morning it looked like an ok spread but I was still not in the mood. The bill was already fixed by my company so I didn't even complain to the staff in the morning. I will be telling my company not to use this place again.

|10.66km from downtownWe had an amazing stay here I hope estly can not fault it. The staff were lovely and the hotel was very clean. Our room was great, the view was incredible, it was spacious with a huge bed, mini bar, and decent bathroom. We were provided with water daily too. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice hot and cold, and tasty. We ate a few times in the small restaurant to the right as you enter the hotel. The food here was great and reasonably priced. There is no alcohol for sale here but there are shops and bars near by if you are in need of a drink.

|0.88km from downtownWe travel quite a bit as a family ( 2 children ages 7 and 12 ) but don’t always review. This hotel deserves every accolade we could provide. We had a family connecting room which was great and a perfect amount of space for all. Having two bathrooms was a real plus! Beds were comfortable and the room servicing was impeccable. The people go above and beyond, are incredibly kind and hospitable. The hotel is very well kept, clean, and has such a special charm. It is perfectly located to everything in the Old Town and has a beautiful terrace to sit on and enjoy the view of the Bosphorus. We would sit out at night and watch the sun set with a glass of wine and Fanta for the kids. The breakfast is wonderful and excellent quality. Have it included in your stay if you can. It is worth it. We search for great food and this exceeded our expectation. It is so fresh and changes daily. The staff is attentive and so helpful. The shop directly beside, Tencer Gift Shop is so wonderful. The owner is so kind and generous. We recommend getting something from him over the Grand Bazaar. Overall we had an incredible experience at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Sirkeci Mansion from the Canadian Family.

Istanbul
|0.65km from downtownVery good hotel. Not luxurious, but warm, clean and comfortable. The air conditioner is good and quiet in a busy area. The location is close to the attractions, and the cathedral, Blue Mosque and Strait are all within walking distance. The breakfast is a buffet and very rich. If you get up early, you can sit on the beautiful balcony and listen to the sound of seabirds! There are many friendly cats. It is recommended for cat lovers to buy a big bag of ham sausage to feed the cats, which is absolutely a cure! The hotel is very clean, the front desk is polite and professional, and there is a bookcase with books in various languages. In short, it is right to choose here! There is a fountain park in front of the door. You can see the sea from the rooftop terrace.

|0.36km from downtownI had the best stay at this hotel. The staff was all very welcoming, and everything was very clean and inviting. Utkan, at the front desk, was especially helpful in making activity and food suggestions, and reservations if I wanted. He even upgraded my room for free, and I had a beautiful terrace with the view of the city. I had a 2 day layover here before reaching my final destination, and I really felt at home and so comfortable here. It was a nice quiet refuge to come back to after exploring the busy city. It is close to everything, so it was easy to drop iff any shopping, use the bathroom, or just rest my feet before venturing out again.

|0.35km from downtownThis is a great hotel in a fantastic location for exploring the old city. It is just away from the hustle and bustle but is within easy reach of all the main attractions. The view across to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from the rooftop restaurant is awesome. Very comfortable, clean rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was the highlight of the day for me. Very good selection of hot and cold dishes as well as many breads, cakes, hot/cold drinks. All with an incredible view! I would recommend this hotel as the perfect base when visiting Istanbul.

|11.58km from downtown2 stops away from the exhibition hall, convenient without luggage
It’s just taking a taxi back from the exhibition hall because it’s too close and often refused to board
It is recommended to go to the airport at least 4 hours in advance. Istanbul often gets stuck in traffic. We just set off 3 hours early and missed the plane.
Taxis in Turkey are very tricky and will charge indiscriminately. Obviously, the high-speed toll is charged at 12.9, and the high-speed toll is charged at 120. Public transportation is recommended. Was slaughtered more than 300 lire

Laleli
Istanbul
|1.74km from downtownSo lets start with the little positive the location is the best thing about this hotel, it’s central so blue mosque and grand bazaar are walking distance and a lot of food places nearby. ANYWAYS I would avoid the hotel, there are far better hotels across the road. First things first the lifts are so scary so small and claustrophobic god forbid if they were to ever break down, hallway’s lights only come on when you walk past talk about cheap skates, felt like house of horrors!!! We was given two rooms next to eachother another positive i guess anyways the rooms let me get started on them!! The corner room for me and my sister felt like we was shoved in the corner, the window was blocked behind the draw? The view was of a ugly wall so could see nothing, the room stank of old people and fags, my parents room was a tiny bit better, small for a double bed and a random pillar next to the bed made no sense, the view was also disgusting. Anyways next an alarm goes off and the bell boy asks us if we have done anything, running around confused?? So we didn’t know if this was a fire alarm or not but were left upstairs wondering to go downstairs or not ? It actually felt so scary i had a panic attack, if this was a fire alarm we would of all been left there! After this we requested mine and my sisters room to be changed as my sister refused to sleep there as she is disabled and found the room to be scary rightfully so, the receptionist miserable man told us ‘what’s wrong with the room it’s best room’ sorry?? You stay there then! Anyways he told us he was night staff and to ask morning staff he was just a waste of space and had a face on, really rude. Anyways in the morning the staff switched our room to the upper floor he was much more helpful and the best person there the rest god help them, that room was a bit better with front view but i must say the furniture is very dirty and looks overused, defo needs replacing but this hotel is too busy saving its cost, also lights and stuff only work with the key card in the slot another money making scheme and u get only one key card lol! Also another thing english here is like alien language most of them look at your face like your talking gibberish! I got unwell on one of the days and asked the receptionist if they had a dr again looked confused as if we was talking gibberish and then i just proceeded to find a pharmacist myself. The 5th floor seems like their executive floor idk who stays there but there lights remain on in the corridor funny enough and there’s no smell must be the owners whilst they leave the rest of the hotel creepy and smelly. Also the terrace upstairs is all closed off they have no bar or breakfast there they falsely advertised the terrace view with breakfast as it was all closed and breakfast was on the first floor. Breakfast was another problem, just bread and egg nothing else and the women making egg was rude to my father and said there was no more egg then continued to serve other people

|0.47km from downtownHi, we stay in hotel for 2 nights. The location is absolutely spotless. Close to all attractions, beautiful restaurants and transportation. Breakfasts are basic, but to be honest everyone could find something to eat! I am vegetarian and have no problem to fill in my stomach :)The waitress are so nice and they clean the plates and tables straight away after customers! We have been there for 2 nights, but housekeeping team do not went in our room and also do not change the towels… In my opinion thats the biggest downside of customer service! We are also little bit disappointed with additional charge after we used 3 small water bottles, two sprites and i think one Fanta. €6!We do not have problem to pay for our facilities, but there was no info in the room regarding charges at all! And when i was asking the receptionist where is the list price, he showed me some labels with prices which was hidden behind him in the corner!I thought this is a little bit strange, especially after we refused to book the taxi from hotel. Generally we are happy, but we will not return there.

Istanbul
|0.68km from downtownIt doesn't deserve even a one star. My room, apart from being very small, was very untidy; musquitos all over the place; humidified walls; the furniture demolished, the sheet ripped; the curtains were turned from white into brown because of the dust; very small and bad bathroom (so small, it was very uncomfortable to take care of physiological needs); not enough supply of essentials, extremely poor WiFi in my room; bad room isolation: from my room I could hear someone walking by in the corridor as if we were not seperated by walls. Bad costumer service. The recepsionist was very rude and not hospitable at all. The owner also, while I was asking him something, he kept laughing on his phone, rather than taking care of his clients. Very disappointed.

|0.95km from downtownThe room in this homestay is large, two bedrooms and one living room, the bed is 1.5 meters wide, the air conditioning is also very good, the room is very clean. There is a local waiter who sleeps on the first floor 24 hours a day and can open the door at any time, but they don't speak English very much. The room was quiet. Someone was singing prayer at 4:30 in the morning on the first day, and it was quiet the next day. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the underground palace, which is convenient in the ancient city.

|19.9km from downtownI stayed somewhere in the Glamping concept for the first time and this was where we were selected. We had no problem with the security of our stay of five girls. The sea is 1 minute close to. The room was in the breakfast concept and the breakfast was in the sprinkling breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Only the room doors reflect too much. He can hit the person's eye a little too much because it's dark around the night. Therefore, a move could be taken inside the room, perhaps a comentary comment. The hotel rooms were also quite concerned. The garden and the restaurant were clean and clean. I would like to come back here, I recommend.

|2.81km from downtownRested with the daughter of Big Peace Hotel. We long thought where to stay, in Sultanahmet or in Taxima, and did not regret your choice. The location of the hotel is very convenient. We arrived late in the evening and arrived from the airport by Havabus to Taksim by bus. Samir, the hotel owner, kindly met us at the bus stop and took us to the hotel. Just 7 minutes walk and we were at the hotel. Samir speaks perfectly Russian, so there were no problems with communication. We were offered several rooms for choice and provided a large room with kitchens. The rooms are light, clean and vary only in room size. Everything exactly matched the hotel description and photo on the island. The room had everything needed: double bed, towels, cupboards, sofa, magazine table, chairs, slippers. There is a refrigerator, teapot, tea, stove, a little dishes. The bathroom has a shower cabin, no water interruptions, shower gel, hair shampoo, fan. There is a TV with Russian channels: 344, 348 and 349 . Specially I would like to note the staff of the hotel. Everyone was very attentive, at any request we responded instantly. I highly recommend this hotel, the price - quality is fully consistent! In the hotel we understood what the eastern hospitality means. I will definitely rest only there!!!!
