AVOID THIS HOTEL!! The location is ok however felt quite dodgy at night. The staff at reception seemed friendly enough. The room is not up to standard - it is far smaller than advertised, and really lacking in cleanliness. The sheets did seem to have been washed by they all had multiple stains on them, same with the towels. It is a one star hotel at best and should not be allowed to advertise as 4 stars. Beware, the staff will ask to see you trip.com confirmation at check in - they are trying to get the PIN code in order to write a review for themselves! Most of the reviews are fake and written by them!! You can even see when someone has written a negative review they go and add additional comments pretending to be the guest saying their review was a mistake and everything was perfect. You can also tell all their responses/fake reviews are written by AI and just use generic language with no genuine personal experience. Check the negative reviews on google for a more accurate representation of this hotel.

I stayed at La Serena Hotel alone for one night during a long international layover, and the location was exactly what I needed. Being close to Taksim Square made everything very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and nightlife nearby. It was easy to explore the area on foot and enjoy a bit of Istanbul despite the short transit time. The room was simple but comfortable for a solo traveler, and the staff were friendly during check-in. Overall, it’s a very practical choice for people staying one night in Istanbul between flights.

Great location near Taksim Square and lots of eateries around. Helpful staff too!

Perfect for a short stay the hotel is very close to Taksim square and walking distance to Istiklal Street. All staffs are friendly. Teşekkürler!

It was beautifully well maintained and very spacious given the fact it is located in Taksim square. Also its newly refurbished and every amenities are neat and clean. It was my best hotel experience in Turkey yet. I wished i could have stayed longer over there but I had a flight to catch. But without a doubt i highly recommend this place. Thank

The location is great, just a 3-minute walk from Taksim Square. The family room was comfortable and clean; everything went well.

It was ok, but my room was very noisy as it was right behind the reception in the ground floor. At the very late night and very early morning, people would chill at the reception, very inconsiderate. Make sure you don’t get offered the room in the ground floor if you don’t want to be waken up very early and noise sensitive. There’s also no window basically, the window is leading to another room. Quite weird set up room.
