Would recommend this B & B to anyone and will definitely stay again. Great location, about 20 minutes walk into the city, but with the lovely area of Hoole just around the corner. Spotlessly clean accommodation in a beautiful victorian house, for our stay beautifully decorated for Christmas. Breakfast delicious, good selection and the full English was very tasty.

I had an amazing stay at the Park Royal Resort Penang! The clean environment and the huge swimming pool were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Price cheaper compare to book via Hilton official apps. Got cookies upon check in as usual. Kids water pool the bucket very slow to fill up. Disappointed kids coz giving them the excitement when the water splash down. Location not near the beach (need to walk across the bridge). And in the middle of Tanjung Bungah and Batu Ferringhi. Walkable got nothing. Just to take note.

Great choice if u are traveling with kids and friends. We were a group of two families and they offered us with the connected rooms. Rooms are spacious with abundant furniture and room service was quick and friendly at all times Swimming areas were well maintained and neat except you will be occasionally greeted with a bunch of bird if u are eating by the pool. Beach towel is available by the pool only and u are not allowed to take it to the room - can feel a bit of chill on the way back to the room since lobby and elevator are always cold with A/C Bring a pair of socks , long sleeves and pants if you are planning to taker ur kids to the kids club.

Hotel maintains its usual high standard with staff always make a smile to guests. Health club can accommodate sufficient guests with cool and dry towels. Pool is large with plenty of armchairs. Breakfast is of high standard with efficient staff clear up quickly. You may swim with a lizard but don't worry, he's cooling off for a while 😁 A small long tail black monkey may sit in your balcony😅 The only problem is room sound proof is bad, adjacent room guests were chatting loudly at 1am, I called front desk and they came up with the proposal of moving us to another room in the middle of the night! That shouldn't be the solution, if the guests are partying, are you moving all the others?

Took my mom on our annual Penang trip with the family. I like the old-school charm the Bayview hotel offers. The room is super spacious. We have three big beds and two balconies. The premise is a beach front property,so you got direct access to the beach. There's plenty of sun deck chairs scattered on the clean, grassy lawn. I love the pool because it's rare to find a hotel pool with 12 feet depth, so while the shallower area is crowded, I get a bit of personal space by the deep pool. It's easy access to food and shopping area.

This my second time visit this hotel from 10 years ago so far nothing change. Visited this time for 3d2n rain the whole time so we stuck in the hotel everyday. Once the rain stops we tried to go to the beach but the water was murky. This hotel have very few choices for vegans /vegetarians so we need to order food delivery or we need drive 15 mins to a 1 and only vegetarian restaurant in Tanjung Bungah. Overall stay is ok but the building was quite old but still maintaining in good shape.

The accommodation is close to the beach. There are many convenience stores around. And there are many restaurants next to the accommodation, both halal and non-halal food. The room is very clean, but it doesn't keep much sound. Only when taking a shower can you hear the sound of the next room's shower. Most rooms in Malaysia smell of cigarettes, but this one doesn't smell like it at all. The accommodation has a deposit of about 50 RM. If anyone wants to stay, don't forget to bring cash to pay the deposit.

This is the second time to use it. It was renovated and became pretty beautiful. The surrounding area was convenient and comfortable. Room WiFi is also connected. Just mosquitoes come in. I was burning mosquito coils in the Air conditioned room.
