Palmera Beach

We recently stayed at Palmera Beach Hotel and Spa for the second time, and once again, it was a truly wonderful experience. The room was fantastic, complete with a jacuzzi and hammam, providing the perfect setting for relaxation. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes each day. The waffles at breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the selection of desserts was impressive. The veal was so tender it melted in your mouth, and we thoroughly enjoyed trying various Greek cuisine dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Yanna at reception, who was extremely helpful even before our stay, organizing our transfer and answering all our questions with care. I also had an amazing candle massage from Sania. She listened carefully to my needs and relieved my muscle tension with great skill and care. Thank you sincerely for making our stay unforgettable.

If your looking for all 5 stars of luxury…..then this is not the hotel for you , however, if you are looking for an average 3 star, comfortable and clean hotel then you’ll be just fine! We have just checked out after staying here for 4 nights. The rooms themselves are what save this hotel. Incredibly clean, lovely 4 post bed with a nice sized balcony. Cleaned each day to a high standard and all you need, with a nice size bathroom and shower. The food is your average all inclusive selection, we didn’t eat in the evening here as chose to eat out however did make use of the breakfast selection and lunch. It was ok. Not wonderful but served it’s purpose. The drinks are awful!!! Very watered down and cocktails just taste….odd!?!! I didn’t find one drink that I liked, even the soft drinks at breakfast were not nice. My partner said the beer was ok. Wine is very watered down and almost vinagery tasting! For one night of your stay you can eat at the beach bar included in the all inclusive, which we were looking forward to and you pre-book your table. There’s one choice of starter, 2 deep fried mozzarella sticks, 2 onion rings and 2 deep fried chicken wings. Then you have a choice of two salads, which to be fair the goats cheese one was very tasty. Then you can choose a burger, I chose the chicken, expecting a chicken fillet. I couldn’t eat it, it was just a processed chicken burger, soggy and tasteless, straight out of a freezer! One option for desert, all the above was quite dissatisfying and left feeling quite yucky! The pool area near the bar is kept nice and clean and so is the rest of the hotel, the cleanliness is the main positive. Sunbeds go very early and not many around the pool, there is a second pool but we didn’t go to this so can not comment on that. Location is close to the beach and slightly out of the main stretch, which is nice. We didn’t find noise to be a problem at all. We rented a car and found some lovely places to visit so overall had a really nice stay, hotel was adequate as a base for the few nights we were here but not sure how it’s gained a 5 star rating, we have stayed in nicer 4 star hotels. With a few improvements, this hotel could be much better than it currently is, however it’s not terrible either!
Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa

Just got back from our week long holiday at Akasha hotel. Hotel is very lovely and has a beautiful aesthetic! We were all inclusive and the food was the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive, cooked to perfection and different every meal which is rare when all inclusive! The staff at the restaurant and around the pools were lovely, couldn’t do enough for you! Now onto the things that completely ruined our holiday.. We arrived at the hotel at 5am after an over night travel, where we were completely knackered, only to be told we had to wait till 3pm to be able to check in and given a room! That’s 10 hours basically homeless in another county! When we asked the reception staff what we are supposed to do for 10 hours we was told “go for a walk or get some eggs” through out the whole day I noticed the reception staff were nothing but rude and arrogant. We had to sit on sunbeds and try to sleep at 5am and the reception staff did not seem to care or have any sympathy at all. We then had to pay £180 to extend our room and all inclusive rights on our last day as they want you out at 11am. I expressed to reception I didn’t think this was very fair considering we had no room when we got here to which I basically just got a shrug! We are so disappointed as this holiday is of premium price, so I will not be able to recommend to any one as our first impressions when I got to the hotel where nothing less of shocking!

Stayed 20th - 26th September 2024 Arrived early hours of the morning with no concerns of checking-in. Process was easy and all information explained. Stayed in a Junior suite with inland view. Room was large with enough space for 2 people. Bed was comfy enough. Could of done with 1 more pillow. There are extra duvets if you get cold also. Enough wardrobe and drawer space if you are a traveler who likes to unpack your suitcase. Didn't use the kitchen area at all. However no microwave Bathroom was ok however shower was going hot and cold. Lighting is quite dim in the suite. I think for women especially when doing skin care and makeup, had to take the lamp from the living space into the bedroom. There is no body length mirrors which is a con. Air-con is great Inland view not a pretty site however we had no concerns and tbh we hired a car and sometimes parked it at the side of the hotel which we could see from our room There is a small care park to the back of the hotel and another one 1 street away which has a little cut through to the hotel all for free. Did not use the pool area however couldn't see any issues. Quite a lot of sun loungers. Bar is great with premium drinks and good prices. Had bed and breakfast. I must say the breakfast is 10/10 cannot fault it. Great variety of food. Hot tea, coffees and juices. Did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel as we ate out everyday Able to use shower room once checked out on your last day and store luggage if you have a late flight. There is a weighing scale for 1 euro for your baggage which is great aswell. Location is perfect. On a ***** of shops and nearby restaurants. All in all i would defiantly stay again Thank you Cooks Club :)

The manager here helped me when I was stranded, I had no phone, no bank card and he heard my story and helped me. I am so grateful to him and his hotel. He reserved a room for me and when I was able to get my card and paid for the stay along with my partner. The hotel decor was very nice, the room was comfortable and perfect ( this is the only place I did not get mosquito bites) the location is superb and I had a sea view room! A quiet place on a busy street, their breakfast was free 🫡🫡 I love food and this made my heart swell with joy. I will definitely be back to this place. Thank you so much for helping me and providing me with shelter ❤️‍🔥 The staff were amazing too!
Heronissos Hotel
