Last time I was, there was before the pandemic, and it was a five star for me. I liked the view of the fjord and I like the location for stores around the area and when I wanted to go swimming, it was right across the street. On top of all that the people were really nice, and the food was fabulous! It has since been sold to a different company, so I do have no idea how it is right now! It is now 2023. , I was not allowed to change the date, so this might be a moot point.. I was not there in 2022, so I don’t know how to express on that little rectangle that I was there in 2018/2019.

The location is right next to the cathedral and a two-minute walk from the internet celebrity RUB23. The room is fully equipped with pots and pans, so you can cook by yourself, and the sanitary conditions are also excellent. The only thing to note is that parking is a little tight.

After a long and tiresome drive along the coast on a gravel road for about 60 min, we reached this gem of a small hotel. At first sight from the outside, this did not look like a proper hotel. However, entering all doubt disappeared. A lovely place with a host most welcoming and helpful. He was owner, receptionist and cook, all in one person. The rooms simple and very clean. «Less is more». We enjoyed a beautiful meal made from local products from the sea and the hills. We can highly recommend this lovely hotel. Cozy and spacious rooms with nice view! Interestingly structured building. Clean and bright place! Breakfast & meals - average! Polite and helpful staff! Central located in Húsavík, really close to the port! I thing it’s the best choice when in Húsavík!

The prime location of the city center, near the Akreli Church. The parking space at the entrance of the hotel is slightly tight, but there is a parking lot nearby (seems to be free outside 10-16). The room is a bit cramped, but everything is available. The front desk service is good. Breakfast is OK.
