Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Thraki

We had a great time at Ramada: great hotel, kind people, beautiful beach, good food. This is a convinient place for families with children as the food is suitable for them and the beach is very close to the hotel, with great sand and clear cristal water. Unfortunately, there are some small issues regarding the drinks at All Inclusive package. At 11 pm everything is off. Also, if you go for example at the toilet, at around 11 pm , and you let your table unsupervised, you won't find anything on it when you return, not even your full cups. There isn't a great variety of drinks, also. All in all, it was a pleasant and relaxing time, unforgetable though!

I was about to cancel the reservation because i read the bad reviews, and i am so happy i did not! The place is so cute, the staff and /probably/ owners were so polite and attentive, we also had lunches at the restaurant. We were with a dog and we had the big suit with the ‘garden’ it was perfect for us because we could leave the dog anytime and be at the hotel beach, which personally was the best beach we found on Thasos, very chill, not many people. And yes to be objective, it is not luxuries and there are things that could be improved, and some of the other rooms need some renovation, but come on, if you want luxury go to Dubai. *Our room was renovated.

the hotel was well located not far from the center for the village. The suite was perfect; quite newv and large enough with a nice balcony wih sea view. the only thing that we did not like very much is the pool as it has barriers around it. Otherwise all fine.

Clean rooms and the location was pristine right in the thick of the tourist action with a beach right out the front. We stayed two nights.

It was the umpteenth time we visited the hotel for three nights. The staff at the breakfast buffet and bar very polite and happy to help. The breakfast is excellent. The lady at the reception quite aloof and I would say a little grumpy. The hotel is in a very good location, in Kamariotisa, but it needs maintenance - renovation (?) in its rooms. There is a lot of noise, at least, in the back rooms (not the ones facing the sea) since right in front of them there is a road where cars and motorbikes pass 24 hours a day. Also, on the same side of the street (always from the back side) there is another accommodation in which all three evenings a gentleman (we found out later that he was the owner) coughed loudly all night and he too spoiled the peace of the night. It's not the nicest in the middle of the night, as one relaxes to be woken up by these kinds of sounds... The air condition started working ”by itself” at night and we had to turn off the main switch from the power panel. What can I say, overall we were disappointed.

We would like to thank all the hotel staffs exceptional service during our stay at the hotel. It was a birthday vacation of my husband, we felt appreciated for the little surprise of balloons in our room and a birthday cake for my husband. Stunning view from our room balcony, facing the Aegean sea. Breakfast was superb, nice pool side Greek style breakfast buffet! We had a wonderful vacation at Alexandroupolis, a lovely seaside town, hopefully we could return again in the future. What a beautiful beach resort!

I did not like the room at all, it was not clearly stated that it was a room without a balcony, I think I was deceived, I asked for a room change, they asked for 80 euros for the night, the windows open 8 cm from the top and they do not open fully I would like to get fresh fresh air in all the pictures there is a room with a sea view we said that there will be a city view, we could not guess that there will be no balcony in the room introduction, it is clear that there is no balcony It should be noted that the airless room by the sea, the windows are locked so that they do not open fully, moreover, the superior room was the first time I was deceived like this, I am an allergic asthma patient, I put my nose to the window opening and breathed, I went out at night to breathe. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, it is close to the beach, it is a complete sadness to buy a hotel from trip com again. It was a disappointment.

We chose to make a direct reservation with the hotel in pursuit of securing the most favorable deal available. The rate we obtained was competitive, aligning well with those offered by other prestigious five-star establishments within the city. However, our initial impression upon entering the hotel was that it appeared rather ordinary. Regrettably, we were assigned a room located quite a distance from the lobby, which proved to be somewhat inconvenient given our need to navigate multiple flights of stairs, particularly with our baby stroller in tow. This logistical challenge became increasingly tiresome during our stay, as we found ourselves repeatedly carrying the stroller up and down the stairs whenever we wished to venture outside. This arrangement was far from comfortable and somewhat detracted from our overall experience. Another notable issue was the presence of dirty dishes left in front of the adjacent room upon our arrival, which remained unattended until our departure. This oversight did not contribute positively to our perception of the hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail. Furthermore, our disappointment extended to the condition of the tap water in our room, which exhibited a disconcerting greyish color and had an issue with leakage. This predicament made our efforts to wash up and enjoy a shower less than satisfactory. In summary, while we secured a competitive rate for our stay, our experience was marred by the inconvenience of our room's location, cleanliness concerns, and the subpar tap water quality.
