This hotel has a great reef but is seen better days. It needs to get revamped. It has one of the best reefs in the Maldives so you have to cope with all the faults of the hotel. I booked the all-inclusive for $137 a night plus 26% tax and service charge. Don't come in May All you get is rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain. The food was okay. They put me on the second floor and I had an ocean view. Good thing about this hotel is that they have a washing package. If you stay less than four nights I think it's $22 and they'll wash everything that you own. If you stay four to seven days I believe I spent $32 for their laundry package which is unlimited laundry. Their drinks are okay nothing named brand. If you're on the all-inclusive and you want carlsberg then they have to put it in your room because they just serve beer on tap that's lion. I would stay there again because of the reef but the hotel is absolutely nothing special.

The FB package is very valuable . breakfast , lunch , dinner are great . The food is cover for all country people . Drink is not included but not pricey . The island is really big , you can get the buggy to get around , the staff are really helpful . The Thundi Water Villa With Pool room is right next to the sandbank , the best location to see the sunset or sunrise .
Origami Inn Himandhoo

We had wonderful family experience staying at Origami Inn in May 2023. The hosts of Origami Inn (Azeez and Cristina) were so kind and did everything so that our stay was as memorable and relaxing as possible. We came with a 2,5 year old son who had time of his life playing with 2 sons of our hosts and having fun on the beach. We miss you all already and hope to see you soon! :) ROOMS: The rooms are of very good quality, definitely feels like a proper european standard. This was one of the reasons we booked this place, as the rooms looked much better comparing to other guest houses and we were not disappointed. They were cleaned every day and we felt super comfortable staying there. FOOD: We had a full board option and ate so well! The food was always super fresh, fishes straight from the ocean and the fruit drinks so taaasty. We loved the lobsters as well <3 STAFF: We met Rowena and Melisa and they were so kind! Thank you again for all that tasty food and taking such a good care of us and our son while diving <3 BEACH: There is a very nice bikini beach 1 min walk from the guesthouse. Lots of white sand, beautiful Maldivian color water :) and nearby reef. DIVING: Thanks to Azeez who is a dive master, we basically saw everything we could ask for under water. Mantas, different sharks, turtles, napoleons, eagle rays, sting rays, octopuses, beautiful corals and hundreds of fish types. Azeez knows the ocean around like his own pocket and each dive spot was picked perfectly. OVERALL: Best value for money you can find in all Maldives. Highly recommend to everyone. We will definitely come back :)

This was our 3rd visit to this island and it was as incredible as ever. All the staff are amazing- very welcoming, friendly and very efficient. The catering staff were great and made sure I knew which meals were gluten free and I also had the option of gluten free bread, pasta, pizza and pancakes with my choice of toppings. Our waiter Ibraham was first class - service was always with a smile and he was highly professional- he remembered us from previous visits and remembered our favourite drinks for with our meals. We stayed in a water villa and Ahmed was a real star- our room was kept immaculate and he was always polite and friendly- he worked around our snorkelling times which we really appreciated. The bar staff were super friendly and always made sure we had a drink to hand - Mohammed always had time for a chat and we enjoyed seeing his artwork. The office staff were great as well- we had an issue with our water camera and our incredible kuoni rep in male - Aishath Shamoona- offered to pick up a replacement and take it to the islands head office and mattia arranged for it to be brought to the island by a returning member of staff.. We had the camera the next day- what amazing service and dedication- they really do everything they can to make sure your holiday is perfect. Mattia was also our go to guy for anything marine related - he is so knowledgeable and passionate. The reef is thriving and the island is very eco responsible. We saw, sharks, turtles eagle rays, sting rays, lion fish and a whole reef of beautiful marine life. It was been a real pleasure staying at this island and we highly recommend it
Ranthari Hotel and Spa, Ukulhas Maldives

Although this hotel was very clean and presentationally pleasant to look at there appears to be a a lot of wear and tear. I was disappointed to find that the spa is closed and that there is no longer a bar on the roof top. The swimming pool is lovely especially in the afternoons but surrounded by laundry! It was not worth having a partial sea view room because there is a lot of building work on either side of the hotel and on one side they work from 7 am until 7 pm with one night working until 10pm and it’s just not a view you want to see. In comparison to other hotels and restaurants the costs are higher for no better service. Breakfast hot food options were always cold, although the evening meal was good, drinks are expensive compared to other restaurants, sometimes twice the price! The staff were efficient but did not want to chat much or ask about our day or make recommendations. They seemed fixated on making the place look nice rather than offering / creating a friendly atmosphere. The excursions offered were expensive compared to the rest of the island with no added benefit. It’s worth shopping around if you are happy to meet the hotels ‘disclaimer’ which we did, knowing other operators work to the same standards. Our room was always cleaned well, smelt beautiful and had clean towels every day which was pleasant. Well done cleaners. I have stayed in many hotels over my time from 2-5 star and felt underwhelmed.

Rasdhoo Stay

The only hotel with Chinese food on the island was still under construction when I came here. There were not many rooms but they were full. My husband and I booked a regular room. The beautiful Sichuan boss directly upgraded us to a three-person family room for free. Thank you very much! I signed up for several overseas projects here and compared other quotes. This is the most cost-effective place. You also need to eat well when you go out to play. I didn’t expect that I could eat authentic Sichuan food in the sack while I was far away. Haha, I made a lot of money. I chatted with the boss and learned that they are just starting out. The subsequent five-story hotel will be renovated soon, and many offshore projects will be added. We hope they will be upgraded soon. We will make a comeback with the most down-to-earth gameplay of sacks😃
