Danxia 丹霞 mountain is amazing. All kinds of shapes and it doesn’t take a lot of imagination to identify the different animals or people represented by the rock formations. Cruise and bus services are easy for you to travel around the scenic spot. I managed to tour the major scenic points within 4 hours. About 50 mins ride from downtown Shaoguan to get here. Try to arrange with your driver to stay to wait for you. Otherwise, it might be challenging to get a car back to Shaoguan at normal prices (RMB 80-100).
