Great Compassion Hall

The Great Path Hall is a very important temple in South Putuo. It is located directly behind the Grand Xiong Temple. It is dedicated to the Buddha of Guanshiyin, the main temple of Nanputuo Temple. Because the temple mainly worships Guanshiyin Bodhisattva, and is located in the south of Putuo Mountain, Zhejiang Province, the Taochang of Guanyin Bodhisattva, so it is called Nanputuo. Therefore, when you go to Nanputuo Temple, you will go to the Great Path Hall to visit Guanyin Bodhisattva.

The Great Path Hall is a characteristic building in the Nanputuo Temple. It is located in the middle of the temple. It has three octagonal, heavy and flying, and beautifully shaped. It is a boutique in ancient Chinese Buddhist architecture. It is dedicated to the Guanshiyin Bodhisattva of Great Mercy.

The main building of the central axis is the Temple of Heavenly Kings, the Palace of the Great Xiong, the Palace of the Great Pavilion, and the Tibetan Jing Pavilion. The Palace Pavilion is elevated from the mountains, with distinct levels and corresponding elevations.
