Everlasting lights, dreams return to Chang'an
Xi'an Travel Guide (4 Days 3 Nights)||Reference for Xi'an Attractions and Itinerary
I. Attractions (Personal experience, for reference)
1. Tang Paradise
It is a relatively modern commercial street, with a series of viewing spots for check-ins and organized events in the middle, and restaurants and stalls on both sides. We arrived there at 8:30 PM, which was a bit late, as many shows had ended. However, we just caught the 9:00-9:10 PM musical fountain show, which was very impressive and stunning.
2. Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower
We didn't go up these, just took photos outside for check-ins. Tickets are required to go up. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda can be photographed from the location of the Xuanzang statue in Tang Paradise. The Bell Tower is right at the Bell Tower subway station, and the exit is the best spot for photos. There are many young ladies dressed in Tang-style Hanfu taking pictures, and you have to queue up.
3. Xi'an City Wall
Very photogenic. My friend and I walked, only covering a quarter of it. If you want to tour the entire wall, it's recommended to ride a bike. There are bike rental spots on the wall. I was wearing a dress, which was inconvenient for riding. So, if you plan to ride around, remember to wear pants.
4. Mount Hua
Exhausting! We took the north to west route (took both the North Peak and West Peak cable cars), and it's not recommended for those with poor physical strength, as it's really tough to climb. The whole journey (bus + cable car + climbing) takes about seven to eight hours, though we did rest a few times. The Plank Walk requires queuing, which my friend and I skipped, as we just wanted to get down the mountain quickly. The Sky Ladder is very short but extremely steep!
I'll share a separate note on equipment and transportation later.
5. Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and Terracotta Army
The eighth wonder of the world. It's recommended to buy a ticket with a guide, as the explanation is necessary. Otherwise, you really can't understand what you're seeing—it's just a bunch of clay figures and three big pits. With a guide, they'll introduce the differences between each pit, tell stories, etc.
6. Muslim Quarter
If you really want to go, you can visit and check it in. There's no need to buy snacks here, as the cost-performance ratio is not high. The same items are more expensive than the snack street below our hotel. Most shops are like this, though there might be other suitable ones, which we didn't encounter.
7. Shajin Bridge
This place is more down-to-earth, looking like an older street, and the things here are relatively more cost-effective. You can buy snacks here.

The ancient city of Xi'an has a long history, beautiful environment, rich and colorful local food, people are mouth-watering, everywhere are attractions and museums, people linger, it is worth a visit!
Xi'an Bell Tower, Xi'an's landmark building, since I came to Daxi'an, I climbed up and took a look. There are introductions to the source of the bell tower, and some components left over from the old building at that time, such as tiles, tiles and the like.
Xi'an Bell Tower has Qi Baishi paintings, all of which are true. The most famous is Qi Baishi painting shrimps. There is a performance in the Drum Tower. It’s good to go to the Bell Tower at night, it’s very popular. During the day, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, and the Muslim Street will be visited together.
What I especially want to say is that I have been to Xi'an for a few days. I have been to Xi'an Bell Tower (where to book tickets online). After I arrived at the scenic spot, I couldn't find the booking information, and I couldn't get in at the entrance. Just when we were in a hurry, a handsome guy on duty came, asked what the situation was, and immediately helped us check the information, or no. Then we found a POS machine and lost the mobile phone number or no. He thought about it and wanted to say that he lost the ID number to try it. The result was found soon. I was really touched at the time. I didn't know what to say to thank him and left 2 photos for everyone. Like this handsome guy! Like the people of Xi'an!
Xi'an Bell Tower, located in the center of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is one of the most complete and functional ancient bell towers in China. As an ancient city symbol, the bell tower witnessed the historical changes of Xi'an. I was fortunate to visit the Xi'an Bell Tower on a recent trip, and I was impressed by the magnificent scenery and long history.
Visit the 4th floor of the nearby mall to get the best views of the tower, especially at night. I haven’t entered the inside of the tower.
It's worth going, too many places are fascinating, in addition to the significance of the big beauty is still beautiful! Visit with a feeling of reverence and love for the motherland! Xi'an tour ten miles lights a prosperous life I wish the age of the first literati politicians to respect historical figures so much, let me can not help but for the scenery of that era! Zhou Qin, Han and Tang, the history of the river shining countless pearls, I seem to have entered the scene of life before the millennium! Taste local cuisine noodles, wontons, and snacks, as if the tongue is beating on the thick mark of the years! Coming to Xi'an feels like crossing the time and space tunnel, as if returning to ancient times. Each place is full of mystery and charm.
The clock tower is a must-check place. The lighted clock tower feels different from the clock tower during the day. The clock tower is named after the iron clock hanging upstairs. Xi'an Bell Tower is a magnificent building with strong Chinese characteristics, and it is also the largest and most complete clock tower that China can currently see.
