Guangren Temple, also known as Lama Temple, is located at the foot of the ancient city wall of Xi'an and is the only Gelug sect temple in Shaanxi. The temple is the unique Green Tara Mandala in the country, and Princess Wencheng is also revered as the incarnation of Green Tara.
Architectural Style: The temple features a 'one entrance, three courtyards' layout, and houses one of the only two life-sized statues of the Buddha at age twelve in the world, as well as the largest Thousand-Hand Guanyin in Shaanxi Province. 📍No. 1 Guangren Temple Road, Lianhu District, Xi'an City (Northwest corner of the city wall)
Back to Xi'an to walk to the Guangren Temple in the northwest corner of the old city root, I have never been in since I was a child, because there are no such beliefs. This time, in order to wait for friends to get off work, they were stuffed at the door. Maps, incense, diamond knots, warm babies, bracelets, etc., and calendars were free! The temple is clean and exquisite, and I like to have a golden brocade with great luck. This practice of giving back to the public from the pilgrims is very popular.
Stepping into Guangren Temple, some stunned, further forward, step back, a noisy ear, a quiet, a red law door so that Guangren Temple and the world separated, mellow and beautiful chanting sound in the ear, finally know this temple is in the downtown but still quiet original Because there is blessing here.
