Not only the old residence but also the attached shops, gates, and 57 pieces of furniture were introduced as tangible cultural properties designated by Kyoto City. I learned for the first time that each building and furniture are designated. Also, on the road side, there was a stone monument engraved only as "Jo Niijima-sensei's residence".

There is also a hall on the premises, and it was about 30 years ago, but it is an old place to know inside because the graduates' subordinates were greeted as the main guests when the wedding was held here.
