In 2012, the "dinosaur exploration of the sea" landscape on the eastern coast of Jinshitan, along with Huangshan, Wuyi Mountain, Huangguoshu Waterfall and other famous domestic attractions, was selected by CNN for 40 "China's most beautiful" landscapes, which is also the only attraction in Dalian. Dinosaur exploration of the sea in geologically called the sea erosion arch bridge, also known as the sea erosion squall, is a typical sea erosion geomorphological form of the bedrock coast, strong weathering effect, sea erosion effect makes this sea erosion arch bridge more like a water-absorbing dinosaur, so the dinosaur exploration landscape is named. Dinosaur neck can be boated at high tide, called "dinosaur exploration of the sea"; at low tide can walk, also known as "dinosaur swallowing the sea".
