Spring Outing | Heading to the mountains and seas in Dalian to experience the ingenious work of nature

🌊Just finished my trip to Dalian, where local friends knew I came to see the sea, so they recommended a national geological park located in the southeast of Dalian, the Dalian Jinshitan Coastal National Geological Park. ✨After going there, I found that it truly satisfied my boundless yearning for the sea, as well as the natural landscape of peculiar peaks and rocks, the cliff walkway built along the coast, and the magnificent scene of the waves crashing. ⛰️Dalian Jinshitan Coastal National Geological Park is also called the 'Divine Sculpture Park'. Walking along the wooden walkway on the coastline, you will see various strange rocks placed in the sea. From Dinosaur Exploring the Sea, General's Tears, Crab General Exiting the Cave, Roc Spreading Wings, Hedgehog Foraging, Thousand-Layer Rock, etc., although all are naturally formed by the environment and time, the names given to them by people's boundless imagination are somewhat apt and vivid. 🐢One of the only two turtle-back stones in the world is located in the Aotan Garden of the geological park. This 'Number One Strange Stone' has clear textures, is reddish-brown, and the crevices between the cracks are as if outlined with lime, resembling a huge turtle back obliquely inserted into the sand. ☁️The only regret is that the weather was slightly less than ideal, but since I'm here, I might as well enjoy it, and I found the beauty of a cloudy day to be quite nice. Still, I recommend everyone to come on a sunny afternoon, until sunset, which is the best time to visit. The picture of the sunset, clouds, and sea blending together is really super healing. 📝Travel Tips ▪︎After finishing the area of the Thousand-Layer Cake, the suspension bridge connecting to the next area is under maintenance, so there is a shuttle bus in the scenic area to Aotan Garden, about every 20 minutes; ▪︎Since the scenic area is along the coast, the sea breeze is very strong, so be sure to windproof, and if it's a sunny day, take sun protection measures; ▪︎It takes 1.5-2 hours to walk through the entire park, and if you want to stay longer, bring enough dry food and drinking water; ▪︎For self-driving, just navigate directly to the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area; ▪︎After purchasing tickets online, they will be valid for use after 2 hours; 📍Inside the Jinshitan National Tourist Resort, Dalian City, Liaoning Province 🚇Take Metro Line 3 to Jinshitan Station, then take a taxi OR a sightseeing bus (20 yuan) 🕰️8:30-16:00 💰Admission fee 40 yuan
