We were here in November and it was cold. There were lots of shopping places and some restaurants. Many things didn’t open. All the clerks were friendly. I would recommend an Irish bar. They even opened the terrace on a sunny day looking out over the harbour. My favorite was the temporary ice rink they opened for the cold weather. It felt good and safe.
