Best Villas in Beihai

This was my third trip here in as many weeks, and let me say that this is an outstanding hotel. In a city not known for luxury, the Shangri-La does an outstanding job. Their service is top notch - from the front desk, to room service, housekeeping, to the pool area. The pool attendants are vigilant about the rules, which I like! There really ain’t a beach to speak of here, as there is a (still) unfinished construction project just offshore, but it is fun to talk around at low tide and see the fish/crabs. A hotel attendant is there with plastic bins for people to catch things, which I did not like because it is wasteful of plastic and encourages people to keep/kill wildlife. Other than that, the hotel is great. Go yourself a favor and book a deluxe room, which are on the higher floors and have an awesome view of the sunset. The rooms are impeccably clean and luxurious, too. Great time here!

The reception staff is very helpful, although more English-speaking staff would be advisable as most of the staff does not speak English and it is a 5star hotel. I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa! The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty. The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done! Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

We generally liked this hotel and stayed for 4 nights while in Beihai. The rooms are very spacious with bathtubs and other good amenities. They are also very clean, and the hotel also offers a good breakfast. The only issue was that it's winter and the rooms were cold. They would not heat up no matter what, and I had to use two comforters from two separate beds together to be warm at night. That was the only problem, but otherwise everything was good. The location is also very convenient.

5 minutes walk from the old street where you can enjoy a night walk. Lot of seafood restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. The front desk is very nice and welcoming, offered us free breakfasts where you can find a really good variety of food. and added our wechat in case needed any help. If you go there Mr Yuan yuan shan at the front desk will surely make you feel like home. He is so freindly and helpful.

I have been to Beihai 3 times and stayed here all the time. The service attitude of the hotel is first-rate. It feels like home. The front desk is very polite. There are orange juice, biscuits and other snacks in the lobby. The breakfast is also very good, especially Ningchun City is right next to it. It’s solved. When it comes to eating, drinking and having fun, big brands are trustworthy. Will come again next time

Isle Beach Home was a pleasant surprise. The view and closeness to the ocean is the best part of the stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are of western hotel standards. The staff is attentive and friendly. They provide information about the island and also scooters for easy transportation. There is a restaurant on site with delicious food. It's also close to local seafood markets on the island. Another great part about the hotel is the infinity pool and deck. But there are a few things that detract from the overall greatness of the experience. The pool deck, although beautifully overlooking the ocean, is not set up for relaxing. The deck chairs are old and without cushions and there are no pool umbrellas to protect from the summer sun. And secondly, (this is not their fault or responsibility) the surrounding environment is the opposite of what the hotel promotes. The buildings and structures surrounding the hotel are unsafe and hazardous looking. But even with that, I would definitely stay her again.

Facilities: The room facilities are very complete, the design is very filmed, [smiling] [smiling] [smiling] There is a large viewing platform on the roof to watch the sunrise! Environment: The environment is particularly good, the yard is large, the atmosphere at night is very good, there are wind bells in the yard, the sea breeze is blowing the curtain, listening to the wind bell, very comfortable Processing seafood on behalf of the hotel is also very good, the hotel's own rainforest restaurant is very dining and the environment is nice! After booking, the hotel lady will contact me, ask me the ferry ticket time, arrange the master to pick us up at the pier, and you can take the master's car to the hotel when you disembark. It is very convenient. We will recommend friends to come next time!

The first time I went to Beihai, I wanted to find a hotel close to Qiaogang Style Street. I searched this location on Trip.com and walked Qiaogang Style Street for a few minutes. Environment: This is a bit of a surprise. I heard that it is a hotel that has just opened, especially new, and the room is very spacious. Hygienic: The room is very new, clean and tidy. Facilities: I booked a Japanese-style room. The boss upgraded us to the most expensive Chinese-style twin room in the hotel. The boss prepared a lot of small details. He even equipped with disposable slippers, coffee tables and cushions. Wet and dry separation, free parking on the road near the door.

I enjoyed my short trip to Beihai at the Crowne Plaza. The facilities met my expectations and I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool during the hot summer day. Breakfast provided a wide variety of assorted foods and hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating of foreigners. I didn't book a sea view room so the view was average, but the room had everything I needed to have a very comfortable stay. Hotel staff helped me place an order for McDonald's food as my travel to the hotel was late in the evening (by that time the hotels kitchen and restaurant had stopped operating for the day). They even had the delivery guy give the food to me at my room door for which they greeted me and apologised for the disturbance/inconvenience caused because their kitchen was not operational at that time. My money was well spent. I am happy 😁

”VAIKUHA (Outer Wild Goose Pagoda)” has the meaning of spiritual residence in Sanskrit. The Beihai Overseas Wild Goose Pagoda B&B was converted from the Beibu Gulf Commercial City Building No. 1. The material was simple and unpretentious, as if born in Sichangyusi. There is an infinity swimming pool in each floor outside space, which blends with the sea. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the sea and the sky are one color, infinite beauty. Although the decoration is slightly old, the quality of the bedding is still very good. The service is very attentive and clean. It feels great to cross a road to the sea, and you can sit on the terrace for breakfast every morning, with a panoramic view of the sea.
