Shipu Town is located in the central part of the coast of Zhejiang, at the southern end of the Xiangshan Peninsula, with Xinqiao Town, Dingtang Town and other townships in the north; Sanmen Bay in the west; Hepu Town and Gaotang Town across the harbor in the south; Touyang is known as "the important town of Zheyang Middle Road". Shipu Town is a famous historical and cultural town in China, one of the six major central fishing ports in the country, a national second-class open port, a pilot town for comprehensive reform of small towns in Zhejiang Province, the first batch of small city cultivation pilot towns, and the first batch of satellite city construction pilot towns in Ningbo.
