The National World War II Memorial of the United States is located in the middle of the Reflection Pool and the Washington Monument. It was built to commemorate the 16 million American soldiers who served in World War II. The whole is a sunken oval square, surrounded by 56 white granite monuments, representing the time Every state and overseas territory of the United States has a huge fountain in the middle of the monument group. 1. There is a huge granite arch at each end of the oval stele group of the two arches, which symbolizes the Pacific battlefield and the Atlantic battlefield during World War II. There are three bronze statues of American eagles in each arch. The crown of victory symbolized. 2. Freedom Wall There is an arc-shaped Freedom Wall on the west side of the square, which is inlaid with 4,000 dazzling gold stars, each representing 100 American soldiers who died in World War II. On both sides of the entrance on the east side, there are many reliefs, which record the glorious years of World War II.
