I booked a walking tour online which includes tickets to the Royal Palace of Madrid. I would so recommend doing so if you are going to Madrid because: No. 1 you have a tour guide that walks with you while explaining the history of Madrid & No. 2 you get to skip the queue for getting tickets and also entering the Royal Palace (very important because the palace is always really busy and the sun in Madrid is blazing hot 🥵) The palace is well maintained, very pretty and grand and definitely is worth a visit. I would say the palace quite the perfect example of east meet west where you can see some oriental inspired decorations and wallpapers. I personally do not have any prior knowledge about the Spanish royal family so it was nice to have a tour guide who explained everything to the finest details to us!! #timetotravel #境外遊 #madrid #royalpalace

The El Retiro park is a must visit in Madrid. It is centrally located so it's an easy walk from anywhere in the city! it recently gained UNESCO world heritage status for its history. In the middle of El Retiro is a huge lake that is popular with young families and couples. The park is also conveniently situated next to the Prado museum so you can visit both sites in one go! #madrid #spain

Huge park in the heart of Madrid

I tried to visit the Prado museum, but hadn’t planned in advance and the ginormous line was a big turnoff. Since the park is right next to it, I decided to go for a stroll and that was the best decision. When I visited in early November, the autumn leaves were all over the park and it was quite pleasant walking through the fallen leaves. The Crystal palace (closed when I visited) and Velasquez Palace are also in the grounds and there’s no charge to visit them. Definitely a great way to relax in Madrid.

It is a major public space in the heart of Madrid and you able to stroll around the square and take some lovely pictures. Is a beautiful architectural. You able to find information center there. There are shops, restaurants and cafes. I enjoyed my moments there early in the morning because of lesser crowd. As such, I would recommend you to go early in the morning to have a look of the architecture then catch up with a breakfast around that area. I want to travel to Hong Kong to experience their culture, lifestyles and foods.

Stadium tour of Real Madrid

The Bernabeu is home to the most successful European football club, Real Madrid. It is conveniently located near the centre of the city and has its own metro station. I went on the €18 tour which is self guided. As the stadium is still under construction, much of it was a building site so it lacked the atmosphere I was hoping to see. I preferred the Nou Camp stadium tour in Barcelona.
