Dongshan Lake Park

Dongshanhu Park is located at No. 123 Donghu Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. It is one of the four artificial lake parks in Guangzhou. In April 1958, under the initiative of Zhu Guang, then the mayor of Guangzhou, Zhu Guang organized people from all walks of life to carry out compulsory labor construction parks, and opened to tourists in 1959. The park has restaurants, cafes, ballrooms, activities centers for the elderly and individual amusement facilities, and has gradually become a comprehensive park integrating sightseeing, sports, entertainment and rest. There are 4 peninsulas and 2 small islands in the lake, connected by several bridges on the lake, and when spring comes, you can see a scene like "spring river water heating, everything grows". "East Lake Spring Xiao" was also listed as one of the eight scenic spots of Yangcheng in 1963. The lake is crystal clear, and the islands in the lake together with distinctive bridges and pavilions constitute a picturesque scenery. On good days, the garden is full of tourists and the flowers and trees are lush.
