GGuest User: I specifically chose this hotel for my local trip, and it exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. I genuinely recommend it to both local and out-of-town travelers! What impressed me the most was the perfect parking solution: the hotel has its own exclusive free parking lot, which is incredibly convenient for those driving. No more searching for parking spots or paying fees – it's truly hassle-free. Plus, the parking lot is equipped with EV charging stations, which is a huge bonus for new energy vehicle owners. Charging is easy, so you never have to worry about range anxiety during your trip. The hotel's attention to detail and service is exceptional. The lobby's public area offers a wide variety of free snacks and drinks, available for self-service at any time. Refreshing ice cream, crispy popcorn, and thirst-quenching sour plum soup are all available all day. You can enjoy them while waiting to check in or during your downtime. The ambiance is fantastic, and these thoughtful details are truly heartwarming. The location is another major highlight, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The hotel is right next to a pedestrian street, with all sorts of restaurants, snack shops, and stores just outside the door. Whether you want to stroll around in the evening, grab a meal, or do some shopping, you don't have to go far. The area is vibrant and full of local life, perfect for daily leisure or short getaways – the location is simply impeccable. What surprised me the most was the hotel's thoughtful value-added services. If you need to wash clothes during your stay, the front desk can help with laundry and drying. This incredibly thoughtful service solves a major travel inconvenience and made me feel truly cared for. The room itself was clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene, and the facilities were well-maintained. My stay was quiet and comfortable. The staff were gentle, warm, and responsive to any requests, making the entire check-in experience pleasant and relaxing. Considering the parking, amenities, location, and service, this is a hotel in the area that is definitely worth revisiting. I've already saved it!

LLaiyibeinatie: The hotel that I was looking for temporarily in a high-speed traffic jam. The two-star hotel was quite pleasantly surprised. The room facilities were like Samsung, 1.8m bed, comfortable mattress, clean and tidy bedding, that is, the room phone was bad, and the bathroom smelled a bit. You can open the window, but it is not big. I don't know if it was deliberately set. Give a 4 points to encourage it.

GGuest User: The boss is good and the people are very good. The hotel room is large, clean and safe. Some rooms also have washing machines and drying racks (very intimately placed in the place facing the air conditioner, you can blow dry clothes in one night). The traffic is also very convenient. It is very convenient to go to Xuguang Expressway and Erguang Expressway.

✨Finally found a great dim sum spot in Jiahe🍵Will be back again😁
Dim sum is essential for Cantonese people. I've lived in Jiahe for a long time and always thought Xinghao was mostly for weddings 💒, so I assumed it would be very expensive, which kept me from going! It almost scared me off 😂. Surprisingly, it's great value. Average per person: 85 Tea service charge: 5/person Today's meal for two was 170; we packed up the fried dough sticks ➕ rice noodle rolls. The food was served quite quickly. Chicken feet ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not too mushy, slightly spicy, with peanuts 🥜 at the bottom. Steamed pork ribs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The ribs are very smooth, the meat isn't dry, and there's taro underneath—floury and delicious. Fried dough sticks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fried dough sticks as long and thick as an arm 💪 Not too greasy, very chewy. Fish paste Siu Mai ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First time having this kind of Siu Mai; it has fish meat and water chestnuts inside. Boat congee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A congee you can only find in Guangzhou, with dried squid and other ingredients inside. Delicious.

Letting Go of a Restless and Greedy Mind.
I used to be quite impatient, always yearning for a different time and place. In spring, I longed for the cool autumn breeze; in summer, I dreamed of winter snow. When traveling, I merely chased novelty, never pausing to appreciate the present moment. Believing the future was always brighter and distant places more enchanting, I spent my days constantly on the move, searching—yet my heart remained empty and restless. It wasn't until I wandered through this place during the Mid-Autumn Festival and witnessed the locals' wisdom of living in harmony with the seasons and celebrating togetherness, that I slowly shed my restlessness and reconnected with my true self. The people here strictly observe the solar terms of the four seasons and traditional customs. On Mid-Autumn night, they have a long-standing tradition of moon-gazing, praying, offering cakes to the moon, and celebrating together in the streets. After dark, every household sets out mooncakes, autumn fruits, and osmanthus wine. Neighbors invite one another to sit in their courtyards and admire the autumn moon. Elders share old stories of past moonlit eves, while children play joyfully around them. There are no extravagant displays, only a deeply warm atmosphere of reunion. The local diet strictly follows the seasons: they eat harvested grains in autumn, handcraft moon pastries, and sun-dry ingredients to preserve the flavors of the season. Elderly artisans on the streets change their crafts as the seasons shift, living a grounded, unhurried life free of greed. Sitting quietly on the sidelines, I took it all in and realized that everything in nature blossoms and fades in its own due time. The moonlight was gentle, daily life felt remarkably peaceful, and I understood that everything in the world has its perfect timing. I no longer fantasize about the scenery of another time. Instead, I fully immerse myself in the seasonal joys of Mid-Autumn, cherishing every flower, every blade of grass, and every passing dawn and dusk right in front of me. My inner anxiety has completely melted away, replaced by a profound sense of peace and groundedness. As the ancient philosopher Cheng Hao once wrote, "In quiet observation, all things are content; the joys of the four seasons are shared with all." Embracing natural rhythms, honoring traditions, living without greed or restlessness, and quietly watching the years go by—this is truly the most graceful way to live.

Jiahe and Beijing, two cities with completely different vibes, pieced together the memories of my recent getaway: Jiahe with its slow-paced lifestyle, and Beijing with its fast-paced rhythm and top-notch facilities. This time, I highly recommend a therapeutic itinerary perfect for escaping the daily grind and truly enjoying life—a tranquil cultural town and recreational spots in Jiahe County, topped off with a relaxing recharge at a cozy hotel in Beijing! The trip's highlights include: the slow-living experience of a river ferry ride, laid-back moments on the grassy lawns of the park, and a roundup of landmarks that blend modern and traditional vibes. Whether you're looking to explore authentic cultural sites, city parks, or simply soak up the breeze and sunshine, this route has got you covered.
Recommended Attractions in Jiahe 1. Jiahe County Cultural and Performing Arts Center 📍 Address: No. 1 Jiafu Road, Zhuquan Town, Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province Bringing together local operas, cultural performances, and various art activities, this is the most authentic place to dive into local culture. The interior boasts distinct Chinese architectural features, while the surroundings are shaded by lush trees. Taking a breather here in the afternoon to soak up the town's slow pace is especially perfect for snapping some Instagram-worthy shots. 2. Jiahe County Gymnasium 📍 Address: No. 21 Tiyu Road, Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province Whether you're a fan of badminton or basketball, the facilities here are fully equipped, making it a popular hangout spot for kids and sports lovers alike. Local sports events frequently take place on weekends, so you can drop by and soak in the local community vibe! 3. Xuanyigong Cemetery, Tanping Town 📍 Address: X069, Tanping Town, Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province A park-style cemetery away from the city's hustle and bustle, where expansive grassy lawns and ancient trees create a highly therapeutic natural space. On a sunny day, the massive trees, blue sky, green grass, and the traditional Chinese architecture in the background blend seamlessly into a picture of total serenity. I highly recommend watching the clouds roll by and just zoning out here—it's super stress-relieving. 4. Jiahe Chengnan Water Park 📍 Address: No. 118 Renmin South Road, Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province A summer must-visit, featured on Jiahe's exclusive "beat-the-heat" map! The park is packed with multiple pools and water play facilities, making it perfect for families, couples, and road-trippers. When you're wiped out from playing, there are local snack stalls nearby to refuel your energy anytime. It offers great bang for your buck. 5. Jiahe County Brothers Basketball Court Ideal for those who want to show off their basketball skills or shoot some hoops with local friends, letting you easily experience Jiahe's everyday sports scene. Beijing Accommodation Recommendation Stay at Kuntai Jiahe Hotel Beijing 📍 Address: No. 107 Huilongguan West Street, Beijing Centrally located, getting around is a breeze. Right downstairs is the Hualian Mall along with plenty of dining options. The hotel offers a cozy environment with great swimming pool and gym facilities, catering to both business and leisure travelers. A heads-up from some guests: the AC can struggle a bit when it's super hot outside, so bringing a light jacket is a good idea. Also, the restaurant serves local Chinese dishes, making your taste of Beijing cuisine even more authentic. The only hiccup is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit sluggish at times, but overall, it's still a highly recommended place to stay. Post-Trip Thoughts & Tips for a Slow-Paced Vacation What stuck with me the most was the ferry ride on the river—the boat cruised along slowly, and as I leaned against the railing, the breeze brushed my face with the cool, damp touch of the river water. All my worries just floated away with the ripples. Compared to a packed, rushed itinerary, this slowed-down pace was surprisingly healing. If you come to Jiahe, I absolutely recommend carving out some time for this slow-living experience. And remember to put your phone away to truly embrace the carefree moment of "who cares if the wind messes up my hair"! Practical Travel Tips 1. For getting around the city, walking or taking a taxi is your best bet. The attractions aren't too far apart, but since it gets hot, don't forget your sunscreen and stay hydrated. 2. The water park is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In the summer, make sure to plan ahead to dodge the midday heat. 3. The parks or cemetery have spacious terraces perfect for a picnic or a quick nap. Bring along a picnic mat and some grab-and-go drinks to make it even more chill. 4. The hotel restaurant offers Chinese breakfast options. It's best to book ahead during peak hours. Lastly, make sure to leave plenty of time to catch your breath in Jiahe's natural scenery and slow-paced rhythm, so you don't miss out on what a real vacation feels like!

Choose brightly colored clothing, such as red or yellow dresses or white shirts, which will look great in photos against the prairie scenery. Also, bring comfortable sneakers for walking and activities. 3. Bring moisturizing skincare products and lip balm to prevent dry skin. 4. Stayed in Jiahe for three days! Don't want to check out.
The hotel has rooms of different styles. I liked several styles and finally chose this projection room. The room is spacious and bright, and VIP movies can be watched for free. The service is also impeccable! Butler service, laundry delivery, late-night snacks, everything is not left behind, and all kinds of daily necessities are free, so you don’t have to worry even if you don’t bring anything with you when you go out! The hotel is located in the city center and is very convenient for eating, shopping and shopping. The waitress was also very enthusiastic and made a travel guide for us, which saved us a lot of time! This kind of accommodation is worry-free and comfortable, and I really don't want to leave.
What people are saying about Jiahe
Jiahe Yuzhong Hot Spring
It's OK, the water is very clean, very suitable for vacation, and the cost performance is relatively high
M35***87Yangtianhu Grassland
Yangtian Lake is truly worthwhile! The vast alpine meadows, blue skies and white clouds, and slowly turning windmills create a breathtaking panorama. There are plenty of fun activities; grass skiing down the slopes is incredibly relaxing, and the hillsides are dotted with adorable cartoon installations, making it feel like stepping into a fairytale world. Adults and children alike can have a great time, and every snapshot is a beautiful scene—a truly worthwhile trip.
M12***53Orange Isle Scenic Area
Orange Island is a bit of a mixed experience, and I'm honestly not entirely sure whether I'd consider it a must-visit in Changsha. It's a large, green, and pleasant park, with beautiful riverside views and plenty of space for walking. If you enjoy places with historical significance or simply want to experience a different side of the city, it's definitely worth considering. Most visitors seem to take the sightseeing train to the southern end of the island, where the famous Mao Zedong statue is located. That's also where you'll find plenty of people taking photos, so don't expect a particularly quiet experience. The main downside is that visiting the island takes quite a bit of time, especially if you want to explore it properly. And while it's certainly a nice place, I'm not sure the experience justifies spending several hours here if you have a limited amount of time in Changsha and other places you'd like to see.On the other hand, if you're simply looking for a relaxing walk through a green park, with opportunities to stop by the river and enjoy the scenery, it's a lovely option.Overall, I'd say it's worth visiting if you have some extra time or are particularly interested in Chinese history. Otherwise, I wouldn't necessarily put it at the very top of your Changsha itinerary.
YazonDinAltElephant Hill Scenic Area
When visiting Guilin, a must-see is Elephant Trunk Hill, the city's iconic landmark. It truly lives up to its reputation as the face of Guilin's landscape; only by seeing it in person can one truly appreciate the wonders of nature. The entire mountain sits on the banks of the Li River, resembling a giant elephant bowing to drink from the water. The Water Moon Cave cuts through the mountain, its reflection shimmering in the water, creating the famous Elephant Trunk Hill and Water Moon spectacle—a flowing ink painting. The scenic area is clean and comfortable, with walking paths built along the Li River, shaded by lush trees, making for a delightful stroll. You can climb the mountain for panoramic views of Guilin, or find classic vantage points along the riverbank to capture stunning, atmospheric photos. Boat trips are also available, offering a different and breathtaking perspective of Elephant Trunk Hill from the river. The scenic area is conveniently located in the city center, with excellent transportation and comprehensive facilities. Every step reveals a new vista, allowing you to truly experience the unparalleled beauty of Guilin's landscape. Don't miss it when traveling to Guilin; it's definitely worth a visit.

湖南永州老乡Hunan Museum
For cultural attractions, a guided tour is definitely worthwhile. Our guide, Xiao Xiao, provided an excellent, insightful, and engaging explanation, leading us through the most essential parts of the museum. Highly recommended!
圣奥莫波诺伊马加张宪Canton Tower
My tip for Canton Tower is to head straight up to the Bubble Tram as soon as you get inside. We waited about an hour to get on, so I’d get that queue out of the way first. Then you can take your time exploring the levels below without thinking about how long the line might be. The level just below the tram is beautiful too, so definitely stop there on your way down.My wife and I really enjoyed the ride. From that high up, you can see Guangzhou in every direction. The bubble moves slowly enough that you have time to take photos of one side of the city, put your phone down and enjoy the view, then see a different part of the skyline as you come around. Even though we shared the bubble with other people, it still felt romantic seeing the city like that together. I’d recommend it for couples, but it would be a fun thing to do with friends or family too. For us, the view was worth the wait!

During the National Day holiday, the crowds were immense. Our tour guide, Xiao Xiang, led us along the way, providing lively and engaging explanations that saved us from taking unnecessary detours and greatly improved efficiency. He also clearly outlined the key locations.
118***58Gaoyiling Tourist Area
The scenery is beautiful, featuring Danxia landforms rarely seen in northern China. However, it gets extremely sunny at midday, so it's best to avoid visiting around noon. Going earlier, before noon, will allow you to see most of the sights. Alternatively, go after 2 PM, as there's less shade in the area.
M49***82Du Fu Pavilion
I have visited Orange Isle multiple times and always had a positive experience. The scenic area boasts beautiful natural scenery, a magnificent view of the Xiang River and the head of Orange Isle, and a rich cultural heritage. Historical sites such as the Mao Zedong statue are well-preserved. The management is orderly, the tour routes are clear, and the supporting facilities are comprehensive. Overall assessment: As a core cultural landmark of Changsha, it possesses both natural and cultural value, and I highly recommend it as a priority visit for tourists to experience the charm of Hunan culture.
