Stonehenge

The trip to stonehenge was beautiful. Its a good place to spend time with family. Seeing the stones in real life felt surreal.

The Roman Baths

Originally built in the 1st century AD (during the Roman occupation of Britain), it was constructed around natural geothermal springs and dedicated to Sulis Minerva, the goddess of Celtic and Roman fusion. It served as a religious sanctuary, a spa resort, and a public bath for all. After the Roman withdrawal in the 4th century, it was gradually buried and excavated in the 18th century. Today, it is a World Heritage Site and a landmark of Bath.

A very historical town. The car shuttled through the streets and alleys of Bath, and it turned out that this is the hometown of "Jane Austen", the female writer who wrote "Pride and Prejudice". If you are looking for peak wizarding world atmosphere, I have found the ultimate day trip for you: Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire, England! It's just a short 30-minute drive from Bath, and roughly a 2-hour drive from London.While admission does cost a little, it is definitely worth every penny. Walking beneath those magnificent vaulted stone cloisters and stepping into the historic medieval rooms feels genuinely authentic—you half expect Professor McGonagall to come rounding the corner!

The Jane Austen Centre is a must for any enthusiasts of the writer. The presentation about Jane's life was very informative and brought to life by the presenter being dressed in the style of the day. I did feel however, that the entrance price was a little high and also items in the shop .

I enjoyed a day at Thermea! It’s true … this is not a quiet spa! But we didn’t mind that as we like to chat as well. At other spas we’ve been to there is little or quiet chatter and people are often asked to stay quiet. At Thermea guests can get pretty loud in the hot springs or by the fire. We enjoyed a couple of sessions, like stretching and concentration. We really loved how these were offered to us. There is one steam room available for use and the other one is for an extra co
