okay so i decided to spend almost three weeks doing egypt, tunisia, and morocco. yes, all of them. yes, i am exhausted.
giza is insane. you see the pyramids in history textbooks but standing next to them is a whole different level of 'wow i am a tiny speck in human history.' also got to see the luxor temple at night which felt very cinematic with the golden lights.
but honestly? my favorite part was the khan el-khalili market in cairo. it’s just pure chaos. smells like cardamom, old dust, and mint tea. i definitely bought a copper lamp i do not need and will probably break in my duffel bag. also tried some street food, no idea what it was, but it slapped.
tunisia was gorgeous. Carthage ruins are a must if you're a history nerd like me. then we went to morocco and chefchaouen is literally so blue it hurts your eyes.
quick tip: bring a million different outlet adapters. seriously, the wall plugs here are a guessing game. and buy the strongest sunscreen you can find unless you want to look like a cooked lobster. alright that’s it, i need to go do three weeks of laundry now.
